Alien: Romulus is now available to watch at home
As a hardcore sci-fi enthusiast with a soft spot for the Alien franchise that spans decades, I can confidently say that Alien: Romulus has left me utterly enthralled! The blend of old and new elements, along with the intriguing Prometheus link, made this cinematic experience truly exhilarating.
The blockbuster movie, “Romulus,” originally from Alien, has been released domestically, earning approximately $350 million at global box offices.
In this sequel, the story unfolds during the time period between “Alien” and “Aliens,” where a band of young settlers encounter the Xenomorph creature, along with a character from the past that they recognize and a significant connection to the movie “Prometheus.
If you didn’t catch Alien: Romulus in theaters or simply wish to watch it again, you can now purchase a digital copy on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store, and various other online retailers across the United Kingdom.

Should you wish to have a tangible version of the movie “Alien: Romulus”, you’re in luck! You can now pre-order it on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD formats before its launch on December 2nd in the UK.
Additionally, a special Limited Edition 4K Steelbox is up for pre-order, set to be launched simultaneously.
Currently, “Alien: Romulus” can be purchased digitally, but there’s no set date for its arrival on Disney+. Disney hasn’t announced a release date for the film on their streaming platform either.
It’s likely that the film will end up alongside all other Alien movies on Disney+, but there might be about a month’s wait following its digital premiere.
In response to the debate sparked by the digitally-created character of synthetic Rook, replacing the late Ian Holm, following its cinema debut in August, filmmaker Fede Alvarez voiced his thoughts.
He clarified that we weren’t aiming to replicate the acting skills of a specific individual, since we’re portraying a different character altogether.
