Alien: Isolation Celebrates its 10-Year Anniversary With Confirmation of a Sequel
As a long-time survivor of the terrifying alien infestations in the dark corners of space, I can hardly contain my excitement! After a decade of waiting, Creative Assembly has finally announced that Alien: Isolation 2 is in development. Ten years is an eternity when you’re on the run from those relentless Xenomorphs!
Today marks the tenth anniversary of the game Alien: Isolation, and in honor of this milestone, the developers at Creative Assembly have announced that they are working on a long-awaited sequel to the popular title.
In response to passionate requests from fans for a sequel to Alien: Isolation, Creative Director Al Hope shared on Twitter that a new installment (perhaps under a different title) is now in development, hinting at another heart-pounding experience filled with Xenomorph terror and survival horror.
Today, it’s my pleasure to announce, as part of our team, that a follow-up to Alien: Isolation is currently being worked on at an initial stage. We can’t wait to reveal additional information once we’re prepared to do so.
Absolutely, we might need to wait a while until the next Alien: Isolation becomes a reality, given its early stages. But simply knowing that it’s in development gives us fans plenty of excitement already.
