Alien: Earth’s Noah Hawley on if Show Will Crossover With Predator

Noah Hawley, the creator of ‘Alien: Earth,’ has shared whether or not we can expect to see a Predator crossover in the series.

Alien is a science fiction horror TV show that first aired on FX and FX on Hulu last August. It’s been picked up for another season and tells the story leading up to the 1979 film Alien, starring Sydney Chandler as the character Wendy.

As a longtime fan of both the Alien and Predator series, I know I’m not alone in wanting to see these two iconic franchises collide again. It’s been a while – almost fifteen years, since Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem – and while director Dan Trachtenberg has playfully teased the idea with nods to the Alien universe in his recent Predator films, we haven’t gotten any official word about a full-blown crossover featuring both Xenomorphs and Yautja. The anticipation is definitely building, but for now, it remains just that – anticipation.

What did Noah Hawley say about Alien: Earth and Predator?

During a recent appearance on the SmartLess podcast, Hawley was questioned about whether he intended to combine the ‘Predator’ and ‘Alien’ universes in his upcoming series, ‘Alien: Earth’.

So, about directing an episode of the show… that’s not really on my radar right now. Honestly, I’m a huge fan of what Dan Trachtenberg is doing with the franchise, especially ‘Prey’ – I thought it was fantastic! He clearly has a vision for where he wants to take things. I’ve only met him briefly, and we haven’t talked about collaborating on anything. It’s just not something I’m currently planning to be involved with.

The second season of Alien: Earth doesn’t have a release date yet. The show stars Chandler alongside Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, Adarsh Gourav, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Jonathan Ajayi, David Rysdahl, Timothy Olyphant, and other talented actors.
