As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but be in awe of Alicia Vikander’s extraordinary journey, both on and off the silver screen. Her life experiences have not only shaped her into an exceptional actress but also a resilient and inspiring woman.

At the 27th British Independent Film Awards on Sunday, Alicia Vikander added an air of elegance in a dazzling green dress, accompanying her husband, Michael Fassbender, on the red carpet, radiating glamour.

47-year-old Actor Known for His Roles as a Killer allowed His Wife, a 36-year-old Tomb Raider Star, to outshine Him in Her Stunning, Sparkling Gown at London’s Roundhouse Event.

This year, the happy pair, now parents of two, appeared deeply affectionate as they savored an evening out together, enjoying their time as a twosome.

In late 2014, Alicia and her partner Michael started going out together, having crossed paths on the movie set for The Light Between Oceans where they worked.

Three years after their initial commitment, the pair exchanged vows during a charming wedding ceremony held in Ibiza, Spain, on October 2017.

Back in July, Alicia revealed she and Michael had quietly welcomed a second child together.

In an interview with ELLE UK, actress Taylor Russell spoke highly of Alicia, a 35-year-old Oscar winner, expressing her admiration for the demanding physical work Alicia is doing on their upcoming film Hope. Notably, Alicia had recently given birth to her second child at that time.

The Swedish celebrity responded, ‘Each woman encounters unique challenges, and I found that facing the same situation a second time was undeniably more difficult for me.’

As an ardent devotee, I couldn’t agree more! The training process was almost like preparing for a grueling marathon. It makes all the difference when you’re already in peak shape before diving in. Those nine months were quite a challenge, but with proper preparation, it becomes a little less daunting.

‘It’s so physically demanding, and I have so much admiration for any woman who has done it.’

Alicia admitted that she had acted out childbirth on screen four times before actually experiencing it, and added, ‘As an actor, you play a role, but each time I had to depict giving birth, I apologized to every woman on set. I felt like a fake.’

The star kept further details about the couple’s second child private.

Back in September 2021, I was thrilled beyond words when my beloved Swedish actress casually dropped the bombshell that we’d gained a new member in our circle – her secretly born baby boy with Michael, whom we learned had arrived much earlier that same year!

Last year, I, a fervent admirer, learned that Alicia bravely disclosed the emotional turmoil she endured following a heart-wrenching miscarriage, one that was particularly severe, before welcoming her precious firstborn into this world.

In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I’ve been open about the challenging hurdles I navigated during my quest to parenthood. Speaking candidly with The Times, I acknowledged that it required patience and perseverance before we were blessed with our first child together.

She mentioned that they now have a child, however, it came after a long wait, she explained. Prior to this, she had experienced a very difficult and severe miscarriage, which eventually led to her becoming pregnant with her son.

Additionally, she drew parallels between her personal circumstances and the storyline from the 2016 film “The Light Between Oceans,” where she and Michael Faulkner portrayed a childless couple going through two miscarriages before eventually adopting a baby girl who had been lost at sea.

Alicia mentioned that the miscarriage was incredibly intense, difficult to endure, and inevitably brought back memories of shooting the movie ‘The Light Between Oceans’. Now, that film carries a different significance for her.

In the words of the actress from “The Danish Girl,” she expressed, ‘At times, life’s challenges may become overwhelming, but if you hold an office position, you have the ability to take a brief respite.’

Leading the arrivals at London’s Roundhouse were Alicia, Saoirse Ronan and Ellie Bamber who all looked sensational in metallic gowns.
