Ali Wong is gorgeous in green at Grammys 2026 in first red carpet appearance since Bill Hader split

Ali Wong stepped out on the red carpet for the first time since her breakup at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

The 43-year-old actress stood out with a vibrant outfit as she walked among the most stylish celebrities at the highly anticipated event known as Music’s Biggest Night.

Anna Kendrick arrived at the event solo, making a statement in a shimmering, bright green dress. This appearance follows her recent split from Bill Hader, which happened last month.

She looked stunning in a close-fitting, strapless gown with a long train that flowed behind her as she walked the red carpet.

The comedian chose not to wear a necklace and put her dark hair up in a high ponytail to highlight the top of her dress and her collarbone.

For her red carpet appearance, she chose bold cat-eye sunglasses and long, gold earrings.

Wong flashed a bright smile as she posed for photos and appeared unfazed by her recent breakup.

She dated the former Saturday Night Live cast member, 47, for almost three years, but they broke up earlier this year.

Rumors of a romantic connection between the two began in late 2022, and they started dating again in April of the following year.

Wong and Hader began dating after both of their previous relationships ended – Wong’s with Justin Hakuta and Hader’s with Anna Kendrick.

Wong and entrepreneur Hakuta were married for almost eight years before filing for divorce in December 2023.

Mari and Nikki’s parents are no longer together, but they continue to raise their daughters together as friends and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship.

Before his relationship with Wong, which had its ups and downs, Bill Hader dated Anna Kendrick for about two years. They first met while filming the movie Noelle in 2019.

I’ve been following Bill Hader for a while now, and I knew he dated Rachel Bilson briefly. But what many people might not realize is that he was married to Maggie Carey for over a decade, from 2006 to 2018. They’re parents to three wonderful daughters together, and even though they’re no longer together, it’s clear family is important to him.

Wong and Hader first appeared together as a couple on the red carpet at the Directors Guild of America Awards in February 2025.

She was nominated for her Netflix special Ali Wong: Single Lady.

They also appeared together on the red carpet at the Creative Arts Emmys last September, marking their second time doing so.

The pair were also seen together at the Critics Choice Awards in January and the Golden Globe Awards in February of this year.

The biggest stars in music will gather in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena for this year’s Grammy Awards.

You can watch the 68th annual event live on CBS, or stream it on Paramount+ beginning at 5pm Pacific Time / 8pm Eastern Time.

Trevor Noah, known for hosting The Daily Show, is back to host again this year – marking his sixth time leading the event.

The nominations were revealed in November, and Kendrick Lamar, a rapper with 22 Grammy Awards, received the most nominations with nine in total.

Lady Gaga received the second-highest number of nominations with seven, tying with Jack Antonoff, a frequent collaborator with Taylor Swift, and the well-known producer Cirkut.

Sabrina Carpenter, whose album ‘Man’s Best Friend’ released in 2025 received six award nominations, is set to perform at the three-hour show alongside other popular artists.

Gaga, Justin Bieber and K-pop sensation Rosé will also take the stage.

The Recording Academy added two new awards this year: Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover.

After Beyoncé’s success with her country album, Cowboy Carter, the Grammy Awards will now separate country music into two categories: ‘contemporary’ and ‘traditional’. This means the ‘Best Country Album’ award will be split into two separate awards to recognize both styles.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. explained in June that the organization’s main goal is to accurately reflect the interests of the musicians it represents annually.

This means we need to really listen to our members so our rules keep up with current music and help us fairly recognize talented creators.

To be considered for nominations in 2026, recordings had to be officially released for sale in the U.S. between August 31, 2024, and August 30, 2025.

Grammy winners were decided after voting from December 12, 2025, to January 5, 2026.
