At the 31st Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday, actress Ali Larter playfully avoided answering questions from reporters, a moment that quickly became a topic of conversation.
The actress, who will celebrate her 50th birthday next month, wore a sleek black dress with an open back and a high front slit. She completed the look with stiletto heels, chosen by her stylist, Jeanann Williams.
Hairstylist Owen Gould styled Alyson Larter’s blonde hair with waves, and makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan Fisher emphasized her eyebrows and lips with makeup.
The blonde actress, originally from New Jersey and now living in Idaho, appeared on the black carpet at an event held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, without her husband, Hayes MacArthur.
Ali Larter and her husband, who is 48 and known for his role in Runarounds, have two children: a 14-year-old son named Theodore and a 10-year-old daughter named Vivienne.
The couple, who have been married for 16 years, first met in 2007 while working on the movie National Lampoon’s Homo Erectus.

In the second season of the Paramount+ drama Landman, actress Larter plays Angela, the former wife of Tommy Norris, a character played by Billy Bob Thornton. The show airs on Sundays.
Thornton, a paid partner of L’Oréal Paris, and their TV daughter Michelle Randolph will both be presenters at the event.
