A total of 40 teams from around the globe are competing for a piece of the $1,000,000 prize money. Additionally, teams will accumulate ‘Playoff Points’ which will determine their eligibility for the season-ending ALGS Championship.

The Group Stage of the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs has separated the 40 participating teams into two groups. The highest 20 teams are now set to battle it out in the Winner’s Bracket, while the remaining 20 teams find themselves in Elimination Round 1.
The leading ten teams from the Winners Bracket will progress to the ALGS Mannheim finals, receiving preferential placement for the POI Draft.

The ALGS Split 2 Playoffs finals will use the Match Point format. In order to win, a team has to start a game on 50 points or more, then win a game.
If a team triumphs under those specific rules prior to the completion of at least six matches, the remainder of the tournament proceeds excluding that team while it determines the ranking for the rest of the lobby over the following six games.
