As a seasoned observer of reality television, I must say that Shannon Beador’s life seems to be a rollercoaster ride filled with drama, loans, and love! With her current stint on Love Hotel and past experiences on The Real Housewives of Orange County, it appears she’s no stranger to dating and drama.

According to Alexis Bellino, she now wishes she hadn’t come back for the eighteenth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. She explains that the characterization of her on the reality show left her feeling shattered.

Bellino, aged 47, who was featured on the Bravo series from its fifth season in 2009 up until the ninth season ending in 2013, made a comeback this year, primarily in a friendly role. However, there were frequent disagreements between Bellino and Shannon Beador, aged 60, during her engagement to John Janssen, aged 64.

On Friday, Bellino posted a detailed message on her Instagram account to over 403,000 followers, expressing that she felt she wasn’t rejoining the show to serve as a source of negativity due to her ongoing feud with Beador.

Reflecting on last night’s reunion show, I wouldn’t have anticipated or desired events to unfold as they did, Bellino shared. It’s essential to clarify that I wasn’t expecting my return this season to be portrayed as a villainous role.

If only I had been informed, I wouldn’t have agreed. I exist in love, not anger, malice, or villainy. Each night, I ponder deeply about why it was presented in such a manner.

Bellino stated that the show’s triumph this season was largely due to his and Janssen’s struggles, as they were previously engaged in a lengthy legal dispute with Beador. This disagreement occurred during their relationship from 2019 to 2023, which concluded when they settled their lawsuit just last week.

Bellino expressed her belief that her actions throughout the season were justified, and had hoped in desperation that during the reunion, her experiences of being criticized by others while filming would finally receive support, allowing the truth to come to light.

She stated, “From now on, I’ll be using my personal platform and speaking authentically to reveal truth to you, as I don’t dwell in negativity, deception, hostility, self-pity, or dishonesty. I’ve chosen reality… and from here on out, I will illuminate the truth for you.

I’ll neither be a bystander nor a victim; instead, I’ll coexist with God, firmly grounded in truth. His power is eternal.

According to Bellino, she started shooting the season while struggling with deep sadness due to the loss of her mother three months before.

She remarked, “Re-joining was a tough call to make. However, it helped pull me out from under the covers and out of my depressive state, for which I am grateful. Lately, though, I’ve been severely hurt, unfairly treated, and many facts have been omitted.

Bellino stated that a substantial portion of video material was discarded during editing which, if included, could have exonerated her and shielded her and her family from abusive internet comments.

Additionally, Bellino addressed the monetary problems detailed throughout the disputed period between Beador and Janssen, as they resolved their $75,000 lawsuit on November 15.

According to reports on Tuesday, the former partners consented to a settlement, which means they will drop all current lawsuits against each other within the next 45 days. This conclusion was drawn from court papers labeled ‘Settlement of Whole Case Notice’.

I affirm that the resolution of the lawsuit was solely due to the fact that the opposition recognized we had the evidence to present in court, and they were compelled to settle because they would have faced defeat in a judicial setting.

On November 21, Beador shared a screenshot of a $60,000 payment on her Instagram Stories, mentioning both Bellino and Janssen in the post, and simply writing ‘Enjoy’ as the caption.

Bellino stated that Janssen offered Beador a reduction in price when they agreed to settle for $60,000 before the holiday season.

Indeed, I appreciate the $60,000 contribution you made towards the total cost, which was originally $75,000. However, it’s essential to clarify that this disproves the myth that someone paid for everything in full. Our forensic accountant uncovered that John spent $50,000 alone during the first year, leaving a balance of $25,000 still outstanding.

After that, she was responsible for repaying $380,000 over a period of three years. Later on, she also had to handle two loans totaling $150,000 ($75k each) as she couldn’t avoid it due to the compelling evidence that would have been presented in court. In the end, truth ultimately emerged victorious.

Bellino mentioned that she and Janssen would present proof concerning the Beador matter because they didn’t have a chance for their evidence to be displayed during the reunion. She further stated, “Now, we ourselves will reveal these pieces of evidence through our own accounts.

In March, Janssen brought a lawsuit against Beador for not repaying a $75,000 loan, alleging that she violated an informal agreement and committed fraudulent promises during the loan process.

In the court, Janssen stated that Beador requested money from him in the year 2022, which he provided in two separate payments. Firstly, a wire transfer amounting to $40,000 was sent in January of 2022, and secondly, a check for $35,000 was issued to her in May of 2023, as reported by People.

Janssen said in legal docs that Beador had used the earlier payment to undergo plastic surgery.

The dispute was resolved before it went to court, since both sides had submitted documents requesting a jury trial on November 7, as reported by the source.

In the second part of the Bravo series’ reunion show that aired last week, Beador and Bellino had a disagreement.

Beardor asserted to Bellino that she had unjustly accused her of dishonesty, and further explained that she had maintained her position on the well-known reality show for over a decade.

‘I’ve been here for 10 years – I took your job 10 years ago, I’m still sitting here,’ Beador said.

Beardor downplayed Bellino’s role in the show at present, emphasizing that she is more of a friend rather than a main cast member.

Bellino replied, “It’s still work, Shannon… I’ve been on television for fifteen long years, Shannon. Five distinct programs, you got it?

As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow, you’re a television celebrity!” This comment, made in jest, seemed to resonate with the rest of the group, eliciting laughter from my fellow cast mates.

Recently at the reunion of its 18th season, Beador revealed that Janssen declined an offer of $70,000 from her, which would have required both parties to refrain from making negative remarks about each other.

Earlier, Bellino mentioned that her fiancé chose not to go through with the deal as a precaution, in case any unfounded allegations were leveled against him.

Earlier on the Bravo show, Janssen expressed hesitance about taking a legal route against his ex-girlfriend. However, due to time limitations, he found himself compelled to do so.

Janssen stated, “I found myself unable to act legally since my actions would exceed the time limit set by law.

Janssen added that he had proof that Beador knew the money was being loaned, and not given, to her.

Shannon confessed in an email that what he had been calling loans were actually loans, which means his previous claims of them being gifts were clearly untrue, he noted. This suggests that Shannon might not always be straightforward with the truth.

In their conversation on Bravo’s show last month, Beador brought up the topic with Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow, explaining that due to financial needs at the moment, she had sought help from Janssen. He mentioned that Janssen expressed his desire to provide her a low-interest loan during that time.

Beador said she suggested to him that he was in a financial position to fund her.

Beador is now preparing for her appearance on the Peacock show titled “Love Hotel,” where participants go out on dates with each other.

She shared with US Weekly recently that it had been a year since her last date, but she ended up going on multiple dates through the show and met many intriguing men. So, we’ll see what happens next. Initially, she only planned to have fun without expecting to meet anyone.

‘Well, I did meet people. You’re going to see it. I have to tell you it’s a really good show.’

Catch the latest episodes of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” every Thursday at 9/8 central time on Bravo. Additionally, you can stream the show on Peacock.
