Alex will destroy the track switch in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 9 (Preview)

As a seasoned gamer and a devoted Snowpiercer fan with countless hours invested in the icy world of New Eden, I can’t help but feel the tension building as we approach the penultimate episode of this thrilling journey. The stakes are high, and the drama promises to be off the charts.

In Snowpiercer’s fourth season, the battle heats up within New Eden. Catch a glimpse of what unfolds in Episode 9 by checking out its synopsis for a sneak peek into the upcoming action.

We’ve got only two more episodes left before the finale, and since this is the second-to-last one, expect intense action and emotional turmoil. The struggle for survival will test allegiances, as every character digs deep to fight for their lives.

In the last episode, it appeared as though Alex was going to deceive the group and side with New Eden. However, it now seems unlikely that this will occur.

Alex wants to destroy the track switch in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 9

In summary, the plot reveals that Alex aims to enter the central chamber to sabotage the signal lever. This action would thwart Nima’s intention of piloting Big Alice and executing his strategy.

As a gamer, I had the feeling for a moment that Alex was backing Nima, but deep inside, I sensed she’d pick New Eden instead. It’s probably because her mom thinks now isn’t the ideal time to trigger Nima’s chemicals. Melanie yearns to return to Earth again. She’s not really content with Snowpiercer, and she’s aware that Snowpiercer’s existence is temporary.

Alex understands that Melanie requires more time to refine the Gemini chemical. To give her this time, Alex must devise a solution, and disabling the track switch appears to be the sole viable choice.

Alex’s biological father is revealed

As things unfold, it’s now the moment for Melanie to openly discuss with Alex the identity of her biological father. Haven’t we always thought that Nima was Alex’s father? Given his scientific background, it does seem quite plausible. Interestingly, despite being an Engineer like her mother, Alex possesses a mind for chemistry similar to Nima as well.

It seems unlikely that this event will deliver the major surprise the show intended. Nevertheless, it could prove quite a shocking moment for Alex, particularly since she might need to decide on Nima’s destiny within the upcoming episode.

Take a look at the synopsis for Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 9:

Alex sabotages the track switch computer and, with Layton’s help, escapes to town hall; Till gets the drop on Ace and uses his sniper rifle to save Layton and Alex from Rat; Melanie reveals the identity of Alex’s biological father.
