Alex Scott ‘becomes latest star to sign up for I’m A Celeb with the “game for anything” sports presenter keen to take on gruelling Bushtucker Trials’

Alex Scott is the newest celebrity confirmed to be appearing on the 2025 season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! She’s expected to travel to Australia next month to begin filming.

The 41-year-old former soccer player and BBC sports host is reportedly enthusiastic and willing to face any challenge, especially the difficult Bushtucker Trials on the show.

Alex wants to reveal a new side of her personality to the audience by challenging herself while in the Australian camp.

The lineup might also include model Kelly Brook, age 45, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34, and rapper Aitch, 25, according to reports.

According to a source, Alex enjoys challenging herself and believes the jungle is the perfect place to do so.

Most people recognize her as an athlete and a professional commentator, and she believes she can now reveal a more personal side of herself that they haven’t seen before.

As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you that Alex is incredibly adaptable and resilient. She’s the type of person who embraces challenges head-on and isn’t afraid of anything – even if it means facing something unexpected, quite literally!

Daily Mail have contacted Alex’s representatives and ITV for comment.

Christine McGuinness may have gotten on the bad side of ITV executives after telling the Daily Mail she’ll be a contestant on the next season of ‘I’m A Celebrity’… despite recently leaving the show ‘Celebs Go Dating’.

The TV personality, 37, has finally agreed to appear on the show after years of declining invitations. She described her decision as a spontaneous one, a ‘why not?’ attitude, as she begins a new phase of her life following her separation from her husband, 52. Despite the show’s efforts to keep the contestants a secret, she revealed her motivation for joining now.

Christine revealed at the Pride of Britain Awards that she might not do the parachute jump into camp on the show’s launch, as she’s afraid of heights and could arrive later instead.

I used to be very attached to my children and rarely left their side. I’m also afraid of bugs and have sensory sensitivities, which makes being outdoors difficult. Plus, I’ve never traveled outside of Europe, so the idea of flying is daunting. But I’m trying to be brave and just go for it.

Getting to the jungle will be challenging, but I’ve decided to just go for it this year – I’m embracing a ‘why not?’ attitude.

Christine, diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in 2020, explained that her children, who are also on the autism spectrum, are now older and accustomed to her being away. Because the family still lives together, she feels confident that their father, Paddy, will be there to support them while she’s gone.

On the red carpet, the glamorous star chatted with podcast host Will Njobvu and talked about other possible contestants, like Kelly Brook, who is 45. She then smiled and suggested fans would learn about her own participation in the show within a few weeks.

Her friend seemed shocked when she firmly acknowledged something, sharply responding: ‘What did you just say? That’s not something you’re allowed to mention! Christine!’

Daily Mail have contacted ITV for comment.

Christine and Paddy finalized their divorce last year after eleven years together. They share three children: eleven-year-old twins, Leo and Penelope, and their younger sister, eight-year-old Felicity.

The popular blonde celebrity left the show Celeb Go Dating last month, choosing to return home to her children and ending her participation before filming finished.

Shona McGarty, known for her role as Whitney Dean on the BBC’s “EastEnders,” is reportedly a top pick for ITV executives, who have wanted to work with her for a while, according to The Sun.

A source told the publication: ‘Jungle bosses have been keen to sign up the soap queen for ages.

Shona is a beloved and well-known character on the show, and viewers really love her. She’s incredibly charming, and the show’s producers believe she’ll be a fantastic addition to the cast of the jungle-based reality show.
