After spending New Year’s vacation with his girlfriend, Jess Glynne, in another country, the BBC presenter has returned to the United Kingdom. Over the weekend, he shared a few nostalgic posts about their trip on various platforms.
Sharing some snapshots from our recent tropical getaway, here’s what 40-year-old Scott had to say: “Experience the beauty of nature, feel the warmth of love, hear the joy of laughter, embark on thrilling adventures, and collect a treasure trove of unforgettable memories to kick off the new year with!

In one picture, the duo are clad only in their swimsuits, playfully enjoying the refreshing spray of a tumbling waterfall. Another photograph captures them deep in a tender embrace while admiring a stunning sunset over the coastline.
A photograph catches sight of Scott stepping out from the sea in a white swimsuit, evoking memories of the Swiss actress Ursula Andress and her memorable debut in the James Bond movie Dr. No.
In November, the ex-footballer playfully remarked that she and the 35-year-old pop artist have grown remarkably similar since living together, as she seldomly discussed their relationship in public.
In an article for The Times, she described her day-to-day life, mentioning that she wakes up beside her partner, Jess, who has grown remarkably similar to herself over the last 18 months.
‘She can see what going to the gym does for me mentally, so she’ll do the same’.
Later, the sports commentator reminisced about a recent event held at luxurious department store Selfridges, where Glynne was celebrated following his appointment as the spokesperson for Fenty Hair, a brand owned by Rihanna.
I take great joy in watching Jess flourish; I chose not to pose for a photo with Rihanna, preferring that the attention be focused solely on Jess.
Since October 2023, there has been speculation about their romantic relationship, as rumors surfaced that they had been seeing each other for several months before that.
According to a source, it was mentioned that Alex and Jess had been taking their relationship slowly. They preferred not to hurry or make their relationship public prematurely.
It was recently reported that the pair are considering a permanent move across the pond.
It appears that Scott’s position at the BBC might be uncertain, as unnamed sources suggest she feels ‘significantly affected’ due to perceived ‘insufficient backing’ in relation to Football Focus.
Last year, it’s believed that the presenter expressed dissatisfaction to the heads of the channel following their handling of the backlash over the show’s poor ratings.
Based on reports from The Sun, it appears she might be evaluating additional opportunities, and there’s speculation that she could relocate to the United States with her partner. Her contract with the BBC expires this year.
