Alex Scott and Jess Glynne had a fun and festive date night on Sunday, hitting the ice slide at Winter Wonderland.
It was obvious that Alex, 41, and his partner had deeply missed each other while he was away in Australia filming the ITV show, I’m A Celebrity.
Faces lit up with happiness, people floated down the ice slides in London’s Hyde Park, riding in inflatable rings.
Singer Jess, 36, and Alex were seen enjoying another exciting ride with their friends.
After dating for two years, the couple announced their engagement.
Alex and Jess reunited about a fortnight ago after Alex jetted home early from Brisbane.
The sports presenter had to leave the show early and return to the UK when Jess’s mother suffered a severe stroke and required emergency brain surgery. He wanted to be there to support her.
The rules stated that celebrities needed to remain in Australia until only one contestant remained, but Alex left early to be with Jess.
Jess explained she couldn’t travel to Australia to meet Alex at the bridge as planned, because her mother is sick.
Alex was the first celebrity voted off the show and quickly returned to England, where she met up with her partner for a relaxing coffee.
Jess shared a moment from her get-together on Instagram, posting a photo with a red heart emoji to show her affection.
Alex bundled up against the cold, enjoying a hot drink. The chilly UK winter felt very different from the warm weather she was used to in Australia.
On her Story Alex posted a snap holding hands with Jess and penned: ‘Home is where the heart is.’
