Alex Jones is forced to miss hosting The One Show as her son Kit, 5, is rushed to hospital
On Tuesday night, Alex Jones had to skip appearing on The One Show due to an urgent need to take care of her son, Kit, who was admitted to the hospital.
As a devoted admirer, I found myself worried sick when my cherished idol, aged 47, disclosed that her precious five-year-old was admitted to the hospital, leaving me in the dark about his health status.
Alex posted on Instagram a picture showing her son lying in a hospital bed, with the nurse attending to him; his face, however, was concealed.
Next to it, she penned down: ‘It never becomes less difficult, yet it’s made immeasurably better due to the incredibly kind and tender team.’
The star didn’t reveal the reason for her son requiring medical treatment initially, but she later assured fans that he had recovered well.
Posting a picture, she commented: ‘Finally completed! Of course, I won’t appear on @bbctheoneshow tonight, but rest assured, @laurenlaverne and @gabbylogan are there to entertain you instead!’
