Alec Baldwin reunites with wife Hilaria for comforting family outing days after horror Hamptons car crash

Alec Baldwin has returned to Los Angeles with his family following a car accident in the Hamptons where he drove into a tree.

Alec Baldwin, 67, was spotted at Coldwater Canyon Park with his wife, Hilaria, and their kids on Wednesday, less than a day after being involved in a car accident.

At 41, Alec seemed happy and relaxed with his family, and the frightening event no longer appeared to bother him.

He smiled with satisfaction while walking around the park, wearing a burgundy T-shirt, dark pants, and stylish glasses.

Hilaria, wearing a green flannel jacket and navy sweats, played with her two-year-old daughter, Ilaria, at the playground.

A little family time was exactly what Alec and his wife needed after a very difficult week.

Adding to a difficult time after Alec’s accident, Hilaria Baldwin was recently voted off of Dancing With The Stars. However, she seemed upbeat about her experience, discussing it positively on the DWTS podcast.

She said she never imagined she’d dance again, especially after everything her body had been through – broken bones, and raising children. She expressed deep gratitude for all of it.

Just a few days after their previous hardship, the Baldwin family faced another challenge when Alec was in a car accident.

Alec was driving Hilaria’s Range Rover on Monday when he crashed into a tree. His brother, Stephen, was in the car with him, and the vehicle was badly damaged.

The actors were fortunate to avoid being hurt in the car crash. Police released a statement with more details, explaining that the accident happened on the Montauk Highway during heavy rain.

East Hampton Town Police Chief Michael Sarlo said officers responded to a car accident on Pantigo Road (State Route 27) near Cross Highway around 12:01 PM on Monday, October 13th.

Alec Baldwin was driving a white 2023 Range Rover when it hit a tree on the side of the road. His passenger was Stephen Baldwin. The accident happened while Mr. Baldwin was trying to avoid a commercial truck—a 2020 Mack registered to National Waste Services in Bay Shore, New York—that was turning.

No one was hurt in the accident, and no tickets were given. The crash happened because of a driver reacting to another car and the wet, slippery road.

Alec was driving his white Range Rover when it collided with a tree. The impact severely damaged the front of the vehicle.

In Monday’s video, Alec blamed a garbage truck as big as a ‘whale’ for the crash.

He stated that another driver pulled in front of him, making him veer off course to miss a truck. This caused him to crash directly into a tree, with his brother Stephen as a passenger.

Hilaria later shared a video on Instagram to thank everyone for their supportive messages and confirmed that both Alec and Stephen were okay.

I’ve been following the details of the accident, and while photos surfaced showing the garbage truck involved, the owner has confirmed their driver wasn’t responsible for the crash. It’s good to have that clarification as investigations continue.

Sean Connery, known for his role in ‘The Hunt for Red October,’ made a planned appearance at the Hamptons International Film Festival, held from October 5th to 13th. He serves as a co-chair on the festival’s Executive Committee.

According to a source at Page Six, he’s spent the entire week at the event, watching movies and leading discussions.

Alec’s brother, Stephen, is also an actor, but he isn’t as well-known or highly regarded as Alec.

While he’s most famous for his role in the 1995 thriller *The Usual Suspects*, he also starred in the comedies *Bio-Dome* with Pauly Shore in 1996, and *The Flintstones In Viva Rock Vegas* in 2000.

He and Alec are also brothers to actors Daniel Baldwin and William Baldwin.

Baldwin has been sober for almost 4 decades following years of drug and alcohol abuse.

He married Hilaria in 2012 and they share seven children together.

He was previously married to actress Kim Basinger with whom he has a daughter Ireland.
