According to reports, BBC executives are planning to give Alan Carr, known for his role on *Celebrity Traitors*, his own chat show. This comes almost ten years after his popular Channel 4 program, *Chatty Man*, finished airing.
The comedian, age 49, is quickly becoming a fan favorite on the BBC’s newest popular show, and sources say television producers are now competing to work with him.
Talks are happening about a new entertainment show, and one possibility included Jonathan Ross, a friend of his. However, Jonathan may have recently signed a new contract for his own chat show, so that idea might not be feasible anymore.
Alan’s quick humor and likable personality have made him a popular figure on Celebrity Traitors. Because he knows many people in the entertainment industry, many believe he could attract big-name guests if he were to host his own show.
BBC leaders are particularly eager to retain him, given the show’s unprecedented viewership numbers.
According to a source, Alan is a fantastic storyteller, and people are really enjoying seeing his personality shine on screen.

Let me tell you, this guy is instantly charming – people just gravitate towards him! But it’s not just personality; he knows *everyone*. Seriously, his network is amazing, which means he can get some seriously big names to appear on his show. It really gives him an edge.
Over the last ten days, his agent has received many offers and proposals. The BBC is particularly interested in retaining him, as he’s been a key player on The Traitors.
Th Daily Mail has contacted the BBC and Alan Carr ‘s representatives for comment.
The premiere of Celebrity Traitors captivated over 12 million viewers, and the final episode is predicted to reach more than 15 million, making it the most popular show currently airing on traditional television.
Alan is already well-known at the BBC, having hosted several programs, including his popular Radio 2 shows and the travel series ‘Adventures with Amanda Holden,’ which has been recommissioned for a fourth season.
Oh my gosh, Alan Carr! I was *completely* obsessed with Chatty Man from 2009 to 2017. Seriously, every week was amazing! He had *everyone* on that show – Adele, Cameron Diaz, Kylie… even One Direction! It was just the best, seeing all those huge stars chatting with Alan. I miss it so much!
I just saw the sweetest thing! Alan and Cat Burns, who became friends on a show, recently posted a really funny TikTok that proves their bond is still going strong. It’s so nice to see genuine connections lasting beyond the screen, and they’ve definitely got a playful energy that shines through!
Alan, a 25-year-old singer, and chat show host Jonathan Ross are all contestants on the current season of the reality show, *The Traitors*.

During Tuesday’s show, Alan said he and Cat are very close, even suggesting he’d be prepared to eliminate Jonathan if it came down to it.
A recent TikTok video shows Alan and his friends preparing to put on their cloaks for the show, The Traitors.
The video starts with Cat taking cloaks out of the washing machine. Then, Alan is shown ironing his cloak while Cat cleans a lantern.
‘I think I’m gonna enjoy being a Traitor,’ Alan says loudly while ironing.
‘Shut up Alan, you’re too loud again!’ Cat says.
Alan laughed and playfully put on his cloak and hood, and then he and his companion happily walked down the street, heading to see the movie *9 to 5* starring Dolly Parton.
