Al Pacino attended the Los Angeles premiere of his eldest daughter’s new film and happily posed for photos with all three of his grown children.
Al Pacino, age 85, has children with two different women: 36-year-old Julie, whom he shares with acting coach Jan Tarrant, and 25-year-old twins Anton and Olivia, whose mother is actress Beverly D’Angelo, known for her role in ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’.
In June 2023, he became one of the world’s oldest new fathers when his then-girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, age 32, had their son, Roman.
This Thursday, Al Pacino attended a screening of his daughter Julie’s first film, ‘I Live Here Now,’ along with his children.
It was such a heartwarming sight – Julie completely wrapped her arms around her dad, giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek. He was absolutely beaming with pride watching her, and it really captured the whole night for me. You could just feel how much they love each other!
He showed up wearing a dark gray polo shirt, a navy blazer, black jeans, and a black scarf. He completed the look with shiny aviator sunglasses, even though it was nighttime.
His three children happily posed for some family photos with their father, showing how close and united they all are as a blended family.
The horror movie ‘I Live Here Now’ features comedian Matt Rife, known for his relationships with actresses Kate Beckinsale and Lucy Hale.
The image also includes Lucy Fry, who starred in Vampire Academy, Sheryl Lee from Twin Peaks, and Madeline Brewer known for her role in The Handmaid’s Tale.
In 2011, at age 21, Julie received media attention after being arrested for driving under the influence. She quickly apologized publicly, calling it a ‘big mistake.’
She chose to face the legal repercussions of her mistake rather than ask her father for help, telling the New York Post, ‘I never want this to happen again.’
Growing up, my mom always taught me to be humble and never take things for granted, reminding me that I hadn’t earned anything simply because of my father’s accomplishments,” the young filmmaker shared.
Julie shared a sweet memory from when she was a child. She remembered that when people asked her father for autographs in restaurants, they would often compliment her too.
To avoid interacting with them, she would hide under the table or pretend she couldn’t hear or speak. She fondly remembered that her father, a performer himself, found it very amusing.
One of her first films was a funny parody of her father’s movies, which she created with friends when she was 12 years old as a birthday gift for him.
Al Pacino once shared a heartwarming story about how a childhood memory of Julie helped shape his Oscar-winning performance in the 1992 film, Scent of a Woman.
He explained to E! News that he once played a blind character and recalled his oldest daughter being three years old at the time. He also shared that he received a lot of support from organizations for the blind during his preparation for the role.
I asked my daughter, Julie, to pretend to be blind. She did it perfectly, and it amazed me! It really struck me how naturally gifted kids are – she just became blind, with no practice or prompting at all.
Throughout his life, he’s been linked to several famous women – Diane Keaton, Tuesday Weld, Jill Clayburgh, and Veruschka, among others – but he never got married.
In his 2024 memoir, Sonny Boy, he admitted he’d always avoided marriage, explaining he didn’t think it would improve his life. He feared it would lead to heartbreak, something he believed was unavoidable.
