She announced her surprise engagement to the world in June.
Five months after getting engaged, AJ Odudu posted a sweet collection of photos on Instagram showing her and her fiancé, Peter Gibson, still very much in love.
Emma Willis, the host of Big Brother, recently shared a peek into her relationship with her husband, an art director. They hadn’t publicly confirmed they were dating until announcing their engagement, and she posted about them on social media Tuesday.
AJ and Pete looked completely smitten with each other in a series of photos. They were seen taking a loving selfie, walking arm-in-arm while getting coffee, and enjoying a romantic walk together.
Okay, let me tell you, this celebrity and her partner absolutely nailed their outfits! They shared a couple of mirror selfies, and honestly, their style is just on point. You could really see the full look – it was a total fashion moment, and they both looked incredible!
Pete proved how supportive he is to his fiancé, AJ, by carrying her makeup bag while she prepared to host Big Brother.

Another photo showed the Strictly star and Pete together in an elevator, with Pete carrying a large bouquet of flowers.
Captioning the romantic carousel of photos, AJ gushed: ‘With you’ followed by a heart emoji.
This affectionate social media update follows the host’s recent statement that she and Pete aren’t planning to get married anytime soon, and have paused any wedding preparations.
She explained the reason for taking their time to Heat Magazine, saying: ‘We’re both way too busy.’
In June, AJ revealed on Instagram that she’s engaged! She posted several pictures of her diamond ring – estimated to cost around £14,500 – and photos with her future husband, simply captioning the post ‘Hiya love.’
The next month, the Daily Mail reported that her fiancé, Pete, was an art director from Idaho, living in New York and intending to relocate to the UK.
He currently works at the brand agency Wieden + Kennedy, which has locations in London, Mexico City, and New York.
Pete, who was seen backstage with AJ while she was filming Celebrity Big Brother this year, has a background in design, having previously worked as a graphic designer for Apple and an art director at Hypebeast.

Sources say the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant has been secretly visiting New York to be with her partner. However, they both feel it’s more practical to live in London long-term.
According to a source, AJ usually keeps her love life to herself. However, she was so thrilled about getting engaged that she couldn’t resist sharing the happy news with her fans.
It worked out well that Pete lived in New York because it allowed AJ to date him privately, and Pete isn’t active on social media, which helped keep their relationship out of the public eye.
He’s planning to move to the UK to live with AJ and build a stable future together.
Pete, a talented art director and creator, decided it was best to move, particularly because AJ’s career is thriving in the UK.
‘They’re both so happy and can’t wait to make their relationship official by getting married.’
Everyone was surprised by AJ’s engagement announcement, as her fans didn’t even know she was seeing anyone.
AJ has been sharing content about Pete for a long time, including photos from their workouts together and from when he supported her while she hosted Celebrity Big Brother in April.

Okay, so last March, she totally dropped a hint about being with someone! It was on Instagram, during her trip to New York – a really mysterious post that everyone thought meant she was seeing someone. I’ve been analyzing it ever since, obviously, and I knew it meant something more! It was so subtle, but I picked up on it immediately. I’ve been following her every move since then, hoping for confirmation, and that post was the first clue!
Fans began to wonder if she had brought a new romantic interest on her trip after she posted a photo of her foot next to someone else’s, who was wearing sneakers. She captioned the picture ‘It’s very this…’ along with a heart emoji, hinting at a possible relationship.
That month, AJ publicly shared details about her past relationships, revealing she had experienced significant emotional distress for years after discovering her boyfriend cheating.
On the How To Fail Podcast, she shared that her first reaction to the betrayal was to hold back tears. However, she later found it difficult to deal with the situation because it came as such a surprise.
In 2019, while on the show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, AJ shared that she had been cheated on by three former partners, including one who had an affair with her best friend.
She recently told the Daily Mail what qualities she sought in a partner, explaining she preferred meeting people naturally rather than through dating apps.
In November 2020, she described her ideal partner, saying she’s drawn to personality. She likes guys who are funny and don’t take themselves too seriously, but also driven and know what they want both professionally and in a relationship.
‘When I find him I’m going to be like “where the bl***y h**l have you been?!”.’

She explained that she’s tried dating apps like Raya and Hinge before, but hasn’t had any luck meeting people, except through her work on TV shows. Because of that, she’s stopped using them.
I’m still hoping to meet someone special through a friend – someone I might have already known for a while. It’s like hoping the right person was there all along, you know?
AJ has generally kept her romantic relationships private recently, but she used to share her search for love on TV. She starred in the shows Manhunting With My Mum in 2018 and Celebrity First Dates Hotel in 2019.
She seemed to hit it off with Duke, a mortgage broker, on the First Dates special, even giving him a perfect score, but their connection didn’t last.
People began to wonder if she and her Strictly Come Dancing partner, Kai Widdrington, were becoming a couple while they were on the show together in 2021.
As a huge fan, I immediately saw the spark between them when they danced together! And honestly, people close to the show started hinting to The Mail On Sunday that they were actually dating, which I was so excited to hear!
AJ acknowledged they had a strong connection, saying, ‘There’s a lot of excitement and romance – it’s really thrilling.’
