Aimee Lou Wood’s perfect BBC sitcom with “glorious” British cast unveils heartwarming season 2 trailer

The highly-rated BBC sitcom Daddy Issues, starring Aimee Lou Wood, has released a trailer for its second season. The new season will follow Gemma as she navigates life with a new baby, and is expected to air soon.

The series, which premiered last year, centers around a woman named Gemma who unexpectedly moves in with her father while pregnant. The first season concluded with Gemma giving birth to her daughter, Sadie.

I just saw the teaser and I’m already hooked! The main character says there’s this ‘fire inside’ her – she’s really determined to do everything she can for her new baby. But it looks like things aren’t going to be easy, and there’s a lot of drama coming, especially with her husband, Malcolm (played by David Morrissey)!

I can’t wait to see what Danielle Ward has planned for Malcolm, Gemma, Sadie, and all their friends! I have a feeling it’s going to be both funny and really touching.

Series creator Ward expressed his surprise at learning about a second series through a press release, calling it ‘unbelievable.’ He’s excited to write for Aimee, David, and the rest of the cast again, and looks forward to continuing the story of the Moscrips.
