Aimee Lou Wood shares sweet loved-up snap with her boyfriend Adam Long as she documents her fun-filled Glastonbury weekend

Aimee Lou Wood shared a sweet loved-up snap with her boyfriend Adam Long on Thursday.

31-year-old actress from The White Lotus shared snippets of her exciting Glastonbury weekend on her Instagram Stories, featuring a photo with her 34-year-old partner.

Actor Adam, famously recognized for portraying convict Lewis Whippey in Happy Valley, appeared to be having a great time at the festival, as evidenced by his laid-back pose in the photo alongside Aimee.

At the captivating festival nestled within Worthy Farm, I couldn’t help but notice how effortlessly chic she was, adorning a denim gown that perfectly accentuated her style. Meanwhile, Adam, with his casual attire, exuded an air of comfort as he warmly embraced her, the picture of affection under the festival lights.

In the upcoming BBC series, Film Club, the duo was seen locking lips for the first time about a month ago.

Since the announcement of their roles in the Film Club back in November, Aimee has shown appreciation for each of Adam’s social media updates.

Additionally, she swiftly commended the celebrity following his successful completion of a charity run for Movember and raising awareness about men’s mental health issues.

On a snap of the actor and his running buddies, Aimee penned: ‘YOU DID IT!!!!!!! ✨’

They are thought to have crossed paths the previous year during their collaboration on an upcoming BBC Three show penned by Aimee, where they portray a romantic duo.

In this television show, the duo portray romantic interests, focusing on the character Evie (Aimee), who teams up with her closest companion Noa (Nabhaan Rizwaan) to establish a movie club.

On a Friday evening at 7 PM, Film Club’s 198th meeting is underway. After being confined to her home for half a year following a difficult period, Evie ventures out this time, marking a change in her routine.

‘Noa has some major updates. He’s been offered an amazing job on the other side of the country, which means their current situation is coming to an end. The fact that this is happening is starting to feel real, and for the first time, they might have to confront the possibility that they could be more than just friends.’

Neither shows great proficiency with emotions generally, but this occasion may prove so emotionally charged that even they might find it difficult to disregard…

In addition to life’s existing complexities, Evie will find herself maneuvering through the peculiarities of her family residence. She shares this home with her passionate mother Suz (Suranne Jones), her sister Izzie (Liv Hill), and her boyfriend Josh (Adam), who sometimes assumes a dominant role in the household.

The Film Club explores the themes of love and family through a blend of humor and emotion. It delves into the dilemma of choosing between the heart and the mind, while also depicting the complexities of falling for a friend.

In a statement, Aimee, one of the creators along with Ralph Davies, expressed her excitement as production on their cherished television show titled Film Club begins this week. This series, which they’ve been developing for a decade, is now finally taking shape on set.

‘We couldn’t be more excited, and grateful, to the incredible team we have assembled with the BBC.

It’s truly an honor for me to work with Nabhaan and Suranne, two talented actors I greatly respect, and make our collaboration come alive.

Last year, the series was shot in Manchester and will be airing on both BBC iPlayer and BBC Three towards the end of this year.

As a devotee following in the footsteps of Adam, who graced both Day of the Jackal and Waterloo Road with his presence, I must admit that I have yet to hear any public disclosure regarding his personal romantic affairs.

In late 2020, Aimee ended her romantic involvement with Connor Swindells, her partner on the show Sex Education, following a relationship of approximately two years.

30-year-old Connor, known for his role in SAS Rogue Heroes, has recently tied the knot with actress Amber Anderson, aged 32, from Peaky Blinders. They exchanged vows last year.

Aimee pointed out that not all relationships need to be categorized as one person being ‘good’ and another being ‘bad.’ Instead, she explained that sometimes the mix of personalities in a relationship can lead to ‘harmful patterns’.

In a conversation with Grazia, she expressed that they had spent some time separately, and during this time, they came to understand that perhaps their relationship was not benefiting them both. However, she emphasized that they continue to hold affection and respect for one another.

As Aimee describes, the ending of their relationship was peaceful and uncomplicated, not marked by any grand drama or tension. To her, feeling single again was like the sudden release of a dam that had been holding back for too long.

In a relationship, I often struggle to preserve my individual identity because I’m both independent and easily influenced by others.

TopMob has contacted Amy and Adam’s representatives for comment.

Over the past few months, she’s gained worldwide recognition primarily due to her performance in the popular HBO series, The White Lotus.

Nevertheless, it was the actress’ personal matters that garnered more attention than the series itself. Aimee criticized Saturday Night Live for their “rude and unfunny” portrayal of the show which ridiculed her teeth, and also found herself involved in allegations of a “dispute” with her on-screen partner.

In a skit on Saturday Night Live, comedian Sarah Sherman, aged 32, mimicked the character of Aimee portrayed by Chelsea, complete with false teeth as a satirical jab, resulting in a broad wave of criticism.

In the drawing, it playfully mocked her distinctive Manchester U.K. accent and her teeth, as Sarah humorously asked: “What on earth is fluoride?

‘It’s too bad because I truly enjoyed watching it a couple of weeks ago. Of course, poke fun – that’s what the show is for – but couldn’t there be a more intelligent, subtle, less juvenile approach?’

Apart from expressing encouragement from her supporters and her sister Emily, she openly acknowledged receiving numerous messages expressing their backing, amounting to thousands in total.

Aimee added: “I won’t say any more on this topic. I don’t easily take offense, quite the contrary, I enjoy a well-timed, friendly jest. However, the humor was misdirected at fluoride. My teeth have gaps, not decay.

‘I’m cool with the caricature because that’s what SNL is all about. However, the rest of the skit seemed to be making fun of others while only Chelsea was being targeted. I think that’s unfair.’

‘The act was cleverly humorous until it unexpectedly veered towards the misogynistic culture of the 1970s.’ She concurred with this statement.

In the past few months, there have been whispers among fans about a supposed disagreement between Aimee and her White Lotus co-star Walton Goggins. These whispers reached their peak when they stopped following each other on Instagram.

However, the screen couple recently addressed the speculations directly, giving a joint interview to Variety last week to clarify the matter.

Walton firmly stated that there’s no rivalry or animosity; instead, he deeply cherishes and has an intense affection for this woman, and she holds immense importance in his life.

Aimee chose to respond to the uproar caused by rumors that Goggins had stopped following her on social media, which many fans assumed meant there was tension between them.

She remarked, “It seems to reflect our cultural state,” she stated amidst the online uproar. “The preoccupation with Instagram puzzles me greatly. To us, it’s of little importance.

She expressed her desire for more discussions centered around the narratives of the White Lotus characters, Rick and Chelsea, with others, and just appreciating the series as a whole.

Apart from managing her position in the Film Club, Aimee has also found herself swamped with work, filming the second season of her BBC sitcom Daddy Issues.

This year, she will additionally appear in the crime-thriller movie titled “Sweet Dreams”, which is being marketed as a “British equivalent of Fargo”.

In his latest appearance on television, Adam starred in the ITV drama titled “Protection,” where he once again collaborated with his co-star from “Happy Valley,” Siobhan Finneran.

In his standout performance so far, he portrayed a character in the BAFTA-winning series “Happy Valley.” This role saw him acting as a criminal who collaborated with James Norton’s character, Tommy Lee Royce, in abducting the daughter of a wealthy entrepreneur for ransom purposes.
