Aimee Lou Wood looks worlds away from her White Lotus character as she dons beanie and baggy clothes while filming action-packed scenes for Anxious People in London

During the filming of Anxious People in east London on Saturday, Aimee Lou Wood was almost unrecognizable.

In a stark contrast to her beloved character Chelsea, the 31-year-old favorite from The White Lotus donned a black beanie and an oversized jacket and trousers, veering away from her iconic style.

Prior to embarking on a thrilling chase sequence, the actress from Sex Education could be seen looking worried and tense.

Aimee is set to play in the Christmas-themed movie alongside Hollywood darling Angelina Jolie.

In the upcoming production, a British actor takes on the role of Grace, a character initially resistant to bank robbery. The film is helmed by director Mark Foster, best known for World War Z, and is an adaptation of the 2019 novel with the same title by Fredrik Backman (author of A Man Called Ove).

Aimee was seen wandering around the streets during a Christmas market, visibly tense.

She then proceeded to sprint through the huge crowd, displaying a shocked facial expressions.

In preparation for his heist, the eager bank robber ultimately donned a black ski mask, before proceeding to film more takes with the cameras running.

In an Instagram post earlier this May, Aimee openly shared her feelings regarding collaboration with Angelina, who is now 50 years old.

Excited about her new role, Aimee posted on her story a picture of Angelina Jolie’s portrayal of a sociopath in the 1999 movie Girl, Interrupted, for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. She referred to the actress as ‘a divine entity’.

She expressed that the initial viewing of this performance completely transformed her world, and now she gets to perform alongside her “divine one.

In this upcoming movie, the story unfolds a day prior to Christmas Eve, where an investment banker named Zara (played by Angelina) reluctantly interacts with a gathering of new acquaintances at a holiday open house.

As I found myself unwillingly slipping into the role of an unintentional bank robber, I unfortunately ended up holding some strangers captive amidst the ensuing turmoil.

Nothing ultimately goes to Grace’s plan as secrets are revealed and oversharing ensues in the film.

Earlier, Forster transformed Backman’s novel “A Man Called Ove” into the 2022 movie titled “A Man Called Otto,” featuring Tom Hanks in the leading role.

Additionally, the director is set to collaborate once more with screenwriter David Magee, the man behind the adaptation of “A Man Called Otto” and the 2004 movie “Finding Neverland,” penned by J.M. Barrie.
