It’s revealed that Kylie has decided to expand her 2025 Australian tour schedule due to an overwhelming interest in ticket sales.
Last month, the legendary Australian pop star announced her upcoming world tour dates, and within no time, the initial Telstra presale was completely sold out due to excited fans grabbing tickets swiftly.
Currently, Kylie is expanding her anticipated tour by scheduling an additional three Australian shows. These extra performances will be available for purchase during the pre-sale period starting in September, which is being handled by Frontier Touring and Kylie.com.
Originally, she had scheduled an impressive seven shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide. However, she’s just added additional concerts to the lineup as well.
She’s scheduled an extra Sydney performance at Qudos Bank Arena on March 3, following the two concerts she already has planned there on the preceding evenings. The arena can accommodate up to 21,000 people.
On the 27th of February, the artist famed for “Padam Padam” will take the stage at Brisbane Entertainment Center, a day after her initial performance there on the 26th.
I’m thrilled to share that an extra show has been added to my tour schedule in Melbourne! On February 22, you’ll find me gracing the stage at the Rod Laver Arena, making it a grand total of three shows in this wonderful city.
For the first time since her 2011 Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour, Kylie is set to perform in Australia again, with shows scheduled for Perth on February 15 and Adelaide on February 18.
The demand for tickets for her upcoming 10-date Australian tour has been extremely high, causing the initial Telstra presale to sell out in just a few hours.
This upcoming tour is Kylie’s first in Australia since 2019, following the cancellation of her scheduled performance at the Splendour In The Grass festival earlier this year.
At the same time as her grand world tour, Kylie announced that she’ll be providing her followers with additional tunes by releasing a new album called Tension II.
In the upcoming release of Tension II, they aim to mirror the triumph of the original Tension. This first version outperformed the cumulative sales of the top 20 albums in the UK, securing its position as her ninth No. 1 album and earning Kylie her second Grammy award.
On Friday, the debut track from her upcoming album called “Lights Camera Action” is scheduled to be released, followed by several more songs in the coming days.
In May 2023, she achieved massive popularity with the lead single “Padam Padam” by Tension. This dance-pop and synthpop track blends electronic music and Eastern European melodies.
The popular song garnered substantial praise from music reviewers, often complimenting its infectious melody and memorable chorus. Moreover, it clinched the first-ever Best Pop Dance Recording trophy at the 66th Grammy Awards held in February.
