Age of Wonders 4 ' Ways of War' DLC Out Now With New Oathsworn Culture

As a seasoned strategy gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the new ‘Ways of War’ DLC for Age of Wonders 4 has piqued my interest like never before! The Oathsworn Culture, with its unique warrior codes and intriguing ethos options, is a game-changer. I’ve played my fair share of games where swearing allegiance seemed meaningless, but this time around, it feels different – almost personal.

Today, Paradox Interactive unveiled an exciting expansion pack titled ‘Ways of War’ for the strategy game Age of Wonders 4. This update introduces the Oathsworn Culture into the gameplay, as well as novel Intrigue Events, two distinct forms, four new tomes, and additional features.

In this game, the culture known as Oathsworn has a special warrior’s creed that grants rewards to players who adhere to its principles. You can choose to take the Oath of Righteousness to concentrate on defeating evil, the Oath of Strife to engage in battles against powerful opponents, or the Oath of Harmony with the aim of minimizing conflicts as much as possible.

Regarding Intrigue Events, they pose a danger to your empire as you navigate through betrayals and assassinations. Meanwhile, two fresh empires emerge – the powerful Simian empire and the massive Ogrekin. The Discipline, Shades, Calamity, and Prosperity manuals introduce novel units with spells such as inner fortitude, external devastation, among others.

The Package of Warfare offers fresh rides, tunes, legendary beast types, new realm blueprints, a fresh user interface design, and other exciting features for $14.99/$12.79/€14.99, or with the game’s Expansion Pass 2. Age of Wonders 4 is now accessible on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers. A recent Tiger Update has also been introduced, bringing numerous modifications and enhancements.
