Agatha All Along Season 1, Episode 5: Teen's identity is finally revealed!

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest episode of Agatha All Along has left me utterly spellbound! The plot twists and turns have been as unpredictable as a high-level RPG boss fight, and the revelation about Teen’s identity is nothing short of epic.

In the latest installment of “Agatha All Along”, Rio (played by Aubrey Plaza) clarified to Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) that Teen (Joe Locke) was not her son, contrary to some fan theories. It’s clear that this twist would have been predictable, but since the show started, Teen’s identity has remained a subject of great debate among viewers. After this episode, we now definitively know who he truly is.

In this week’s installment titled “Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power,” the coven confronts their third ordeal. This time, Agatha takes center stage much like Alice (Ali Ahn) did in the previous trial. The storyline then unfolds into a rollercoaster of events that culminates in a massive revelation that many Marvel enthusiasts had anticipated long before.

Hey gamers, no need for a lengthy intro here. Let me walk you through some thrilling highlights from this week’s episode of Agatha All Along – but be warned, major spoilers lie ahead! 🚨📺🎬

The Salem Seven

Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power” begins with the Salem Seven pursuing the coven, driven by intense animosity towards Agatha. Interestingly, when Agatha eliminated her earlier coven, she chose to spare their offspring. Over time, these children developed into vindictive and bloodthirsty individuals, seeking retribution for the loss of their mothers. The Salem Seven managed to join the chase because the entrance to the Witches’ Road was only partially closed when the original coven entered.

With the Salem Seven hot on their heels, these alleged witches must act swiftly and flee for safety. For them, that means hastily constructing makeshift brooms from local tree roots and making a hasty exit. Even Teen, who was initially skeptical, finds himself part of this magical escape as the coven takes flight, soaring away from the Salem Seven and into the sky.

However, the path doesn’t allow them to savor their enchanting flight on their brooms for an extended period, instead, it brings them crashing back to reality and straight into their next challenge.

The third trial

As the Salem Seven approach, the coven manages to enter their latest shelter just in time. Fortunately, the Salem Seven are unable to break into the newly constructed house. For now, the coven remains safe and is sporting some stylish outfits suitable for a 1980s sleepover party.

This week’s trial deviates from last week’s musical presentation by the coven. Instead, it appears that the spirit within the Ouija board is intent on punishing Agatha. At first glance, Agatha seems unfazed by the proceedings; the board spells out MRSHART, and she feigns being possessed by Mrs. Hart, or in fact Sharon Davis. This strategy seemingly aims to dodge the upcoming task, but with time running short and just 30 minutes remaining to resolve the trial, Agatha must get serious.

Through the Ouija board, it becomes apparent that Death intends to mete out retribution towards Agatha. The coven, particularly Jen, firmly believe that until Agatha receives her due punishment, they cannot complete the trial. Despite Agatha’s efforts to dissuade them, the board leaves no room for doubt about their mission.

When the lights fade, Agatha mysteriously vanishes and is later found suspended from the ceiling, reminiscent of supernatural horror films like “The Grudge” or “The Exorcist.” It becomes apparent that she’s no longer feigning; she’s genuinely possessed. The chilling signs are unmistakable: her eyes have lost their color, her skin is cracked, and an insatiable desire to harm others has taken hold.

The group discovers that Agatha had been taken over by her mother Evanora Harkness, who manifested as a ghost following her departure from Agatha’s body. She instructs the coven to continue their journey along the Witches’ Road without Agatha. This was the sole method to exact revenge on Agatha, a punishment that would ultimately annihilate her.

The witches ponder the concept until Alice steps in and employs her abilities to expel Evanora from Agatha’s body. Seizing the opportunity, Agatha usurps Alice’s power, draining her of vitality so severely that Alice…perishes. Alas, Agatha, what was your motivation? Truly, Agatha, why did you do this?

As I watch in awe, the Ouija board becomes increasingly frantic, spelling out “NICHOLASSCRATCH.” Teen reads this aloud as Agatha appears to be draining Alice of her powers. It’s not until she hears what sounds like her son’s name that she pauses, turns, and begins to leave the door that has mysteriously opened since the trial has come to an end.

Everybody else appears deeply saddened by Alice’s demise, while Agatha remains oblivious to the emotions surrounding her, seemingly preoccupied with her own interests. She doesn’t seem to show remorse for her actions, but she has regained some of her abilities due to Alice, and now she seems determined to move forward.

Ending of Agatha All Along Season 1, Episode 5 explained: Who is Teen?

As a devoted fan, I must admit that the return of Agatha’s powers holds no excitement for me. Instead, my heart is heavy with distress over the way she took Alice’s life so coldly. “Is this what being a witch truly involves? Ending lives to further your own goals?” I find myself questioning. “Definitely not my path.

There is something about what he says that prompts Agatha to reply with a simpering smirk, and it’s the BIG moment we had all been waiting for. “Are you sure?” she whispers. “You’re so much like your mother.”

So much like…his mother?! Like the Scarlet Witch?!

It seems clear that Agatha has figured out who Teen truly is – it turns out to be Billy Kaplan, also known as Wiccan, and we believe this as well. The speculations were correct; it’s definitely him!

We observe this occurrence because Agatha angers Billy, causing him to exhibit blue magical aura from his hands. He then assumes control over Jen and Lilia, who subsequently seize Agatha and hurl her into the mud, which encloses her in a similar manner to how it previously surrounded Mrs. Hart. In turn, he also takes possession of Jen, Lilia, and even the camera, revealing a crown reminiscent of Scarlet Witch’s adorning Billy’s head.

If that isn’t a confirmation of Teen’s identity, then I don’t know what is!
