Agatha All Along and the 4 Disney+ shows still coming in 2024 we can’t wait to watch

As a dedicated Disney+ viewer and long-time fan of both Marvel and Star Wars, I am beyond excited for the upcoming shows that are set to grace our screens this year. The anticipation has been building for months, and as we approach the midpoint of 2024, the summer heat is not the only thing heating up!

As a gamer in the year 2024, I must confess that even though summer is in full swing and the rainfall can be heavy at times, I find myself drawn to my TV screen during these hot afternoons. Yet, let me tell you, my excitement for the new television shows on the horizon is nothing short of electrifying. We’re not just looking forward to continuing our current series; we’re eagerly anticipating the premieres that are sure to keep us hooked and entertained all year long.

As a longtime Disney fan with countless memories of watching their beloved shows since I was a kid, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the five upcoming Disney+ series that have piqued my interest this year! Be warned, dear reader, there might be some spoilers ahead for those who haven’t yet caught up.

1. Agatha All Along

long ago, an intriguing Marvel television series named WandaVision made its debut on a popular streaming service. This captivating show explored how Wanda, the woman deeply in love with Vision despite his unfortunate demise, imagined their life together.

Amidst the chaos, comedy, and cameos, one character, Agatha Harkness, significantly shifted the dynamics of the TV series. Disguised as the main antagonist that Wanda needed to conquer, she was eventually vanquished by the season’s end. Tragically, while those unfortunate souls trapped in Wanda’s dream realm were finally released.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but feel that Agatha’s tale isn’t fully concluded yet. With her famed magical abilities, she stands a chance to reclaim the powers taken from her by Wanda. She doesn’t stand alone in this endeavor, either. A community of witches, along with some recognizable faces, might even include one of Wanda’s sons who was once just an illusion but now exists in the real world.

As avid gamers who have been eagerly anticipating this for years, (WandaVision finally came out in 2021), we can hardly contain our excitement to find out what mischief and disorder Agatha is going to cause next. The long-awaited Agatha All Along episode will be released on September 18, 2024.

2. Marvel Zombies

As a longtime comic book enthusiast and avid fan of Marvel universe, I’ve spent countless hours immersed in the thrilling worlds of superheroes and their epic battles against formidable foes. So when someone suggests combining these beloved characters with the undead, my initial reaction might be one of skepticism. But having delved into various genres of literature, I’ve come to appreciate the creative possibilities that emerge from unconventional pairings.

As a longtime fan of thought-provoking and suspenseful storytelling, I can’t help but be intrigued by the rumors swirling around the internet regarding the upcoming release of this dark, captivating series. Much like the mind-bending tales presented in “What If…?”, this new show promises a violent yet irresistible journey.

As San Diego Comic Con approaches, there’s a good chance we’ll receive some new information about the upcoming post-apocalyptic story. In this tale, both our heroes and villains must confront the harsh realities of living among zombies. Frankly, the presence of zombies alone is enough to have us eagerly anticipating this show.

3. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

At present, the future of Disney+’s Star Wars universe is up in the air. Some shows have been huge successes, while others haven’t performed as well. This uncertainty makes us excited for the upcoming series, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Based on rumors, it is set to premiere during the upcoming holiday season.

If that’s correct, we’ll need to be patient and cross our fingers that this new show will reach the heights of “The Mandalorian” fame. Based on current information, Jude Law will portray a character sensitive to the Force, while Kyriana Kratter, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Robert Timothy Smith, and Ravi Cabot-Conyers will play four children. However, we’re clueless about what adventures await our heroes; for that, we must wait and ponder endlessly.

4. Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures Season 2

Regarding Star Wars, I’d like to mention that there’s another exciting series set in a distant galaxy. It’s called “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,” and it’s coming back soon! You won’t have to wait long, as the second season will premiere on both the streaming platform and Disney Jr. starting August 14. Fans of Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Bell Zettifar can look forward to their return in this thrilling series.

The Phantom Menace” and learn about the Force together with young Jedi trainees. And let’s not forget that the legendary Master Yoda makes an appearance in this series! Occasionally, we all crave a change from the heavier and more mature Disney+ offerings and appreciate lighter, more family-friendly content.

5. Tiana

Finally, we have Tiana, a Disney+ series based on our determined Disney princess from the movie “The Princess and the Frog” by Disney. In this story, Tiana remains focused on her goal of opening her own restaurant and is unwilling to be deterred by anyone.

Yet, her plans are momentarily halted as she transforms into a frog after kissing a prince who had similarly been turned into one. The malevolent figure known as Dr. Facilier isn’t far from pursuing his debtors in the spirit world. This unexpected turn of events leads Tiana to forge new friendships, conquer her anxieties, and discover true love.

Tiana, now the Princess of Maldonia after marrying Prince Naveen in the movie’s finale, has new journeys in store for us. We’re eagerly looking forward to finding out what delicious plans she has in store! The release date may be undisclosed, but our excitement and anticipation to witness Tiana’s tale unfold this year is as certain as a sunrise.
