AFL WAG’s Home Ransacked by Thieves

On Monday, the home of Australian football star Liam Picken and his spouse Annie Nolan was broken into and robbed by thieves in Melbourne.

35-year-old partner of an AFL player offered a peek inside her residence to her 53,000 Instagram followers, revealing that it had been ransacked by burglars.

The images revealed a shattered, dirty window in her front door and her possessions scattered messily across the floor, as if someone had hastily searched for valuable items.

Annie mentioned that she’s misplaced several cherished items: the shoes she wore at her wedding, a ring given to her by her deceased brother on her 21st birthday, and some football memorabilia once owned by her husband, the renowned Western Bulldogs player Liam Picken.

Fortunately, upon checking, it was found that neither her wedding ring nor Liam’s 2016 premiership medal were missing.

In simpler terms, the blogger meant that the family was told by the Victorian police to leave everything untouched or undisturbed during their investigation into the burglary.

Unfortunate for Annie, it turned out that the items she considered of little value – such as her pornographic DVDs and assortment of sex toys – were left exposed among the other possessions, since they weren’t taken during the theft.

‘Don’t take those, just leave them to embarrass me, you a***holes,’ she joked in her video.

On a lighter note, she shared that her tiny Chinese Crested dogs hadn’t been successful in keeping unwanted visitors at bay.

‘Absolutely useless, in trouble with me,’ she quipped.

In simple terms, Annie, who runs a pet grooming business in Yarraville, shared with her audience that the recent incident she encountered was startling, yet it won’t alter her core beliefs.

Instead of participating in Bec Judd’s social media campaign advocating for stricter measures against crime, she encouraged Australian authorities to focus more on addressing the underlying factors contributing to inequality and poverty.

I firmly believe that genuine kindness exists in this world, yet it seems unfortunate how circumstances push people to act in ways that sadden me greatly.

‘I really hope they look good in my high heels.’

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Annie for comment.

In the year 2016, Annie’s spouse, Liam (currently 38 years old), emerged victorious as a top-tier player for the Western Bulldogs and represented the team from the years 2009 to 2017.

The AFL champion has been open about how his impressive career affected his health. In 2020, he announced his intention to contribute his brain to scientific research after his death, focusing on the study of concussions in the future.

2023 court documents claim that he accused the AFL, the Bulldogs team, Dr. Gary Zimmerman, and Dr. Jacob Landsberger of neglecting their responsibility to safeguard him from brain injuries throughout his 198-game tenure with them.

Ever since taking off his boots, Picken has been vocal about the hardships he attributes to the alleged multiple concussions he’s experienced.

The AFL won a bid to halt Picken’s case until a class action about concussions has been resolved.
