AFL WAG Sophie Cachia reveals plans to marry her AFLW star girlfriend Madison Prespakis – and confirms whether she is planning on having another baby

Sophie Cachia has hinted at plans to marry her girlfriend Madison Prespakis.

In December, a 34-year-old woman who was previously associated with AFL (Australian Football League), and a 24-year-old AFLW (AFL Women’s) player, publicly displayed their relationship on Instagram. This happened just a month before Sophie gave birth to her third child, Esmé, in January, following the process of intrauterine insemination (IUI).

And it seems, things are already getting serious between the couple.

On a Q&A session via her Instagram Stories on Monday, Sophie promptly answered a curious fan’s question about remarriage: “If the opportunity presented itself, would you consider marriage once more?

‘Absolutely,’ she said. ‘With every part of my soul.’

Sophie clarified that she is neither married nor engaged, when answering questions about her current relationship status.

‘I always wear these rings. They are my rings,’ she said.

In the video, Sophie’s attire included a striking sapphire and diamond ring that had some resemblance to an engagement ring.

‘But yes, I would get married tomorrow, if I could,’ she said.

Fans also queried whether Sophie would consider having a fourth child with her new partner.

‘If you asked me when I was pregnant, the answer would be yes. I always wanted four kids.

However, should you pose the question to parents with a four-month-old about having additional children, their response would likely be something along the lines of, “Definitely not at this moment.

Sophie expressed that, at the moment, it’s something she doesn’t wish to contemplate or consider, but she didn’t rule out the possibility entirely.

Additionally, she has made it clear that she intends to put her Melbourne house up for sale by the year 2025 and cohabit with her family in Madison instead.

Sophie mentioned that the sale is not going to take place immediately, as it’s quite difficult for her to relocate due to taking care of a baby and two other children.

Since her divorce from AFL player Jarryd Cachia in 2019, Sophie has experienced a series of unsuccessful relationships with prominent female athletes. She is the mother to Bobby, aged 10, and Florence, who is 7 years old, with Jarryd.

Sophie was wedded to Jaryd from October 2015 until September 2019, during which they became parents to two children.

Since their split, she has struck up several back-to-back romances with high-profile sportswomen.

Initially, she was in a relationship with Alanna Kennedy from the Matildas soccer team. Later, she had a short-lived engagement with basketball player Maddie Garrick of the WNBL. Subsequently, for a year, she was involved romantically with AFLW star Sophie Van De Heuvel.
