AFL WAG Annalise Dalins rushed to hospital after turning heads on the Brownlow red carpet: ‘Taking a few days off’

AFL WAG Annalise Dalins has sparked concern after being rushed to hospital this week.

On Wednesday, the fiancée of Collingwood player Josh Daicos shared on her Instagram story that she is recovering after having her appendix removed. She had been diagnosed with appendicitis.

She posted a black and white photo of herself in a hospital bed, seemingly getting better and enjoying what looked like an electrolyte ice pop.

Fiancé Josh sat faithfully by Annalise’s side, offering the camera an encouraging smile.

Even though she wasn’t feeling well, Annalise playfully mentioned that Josh is currently searching for someone to accompany him to the Copeland Trophy event at The Crown Palladium in Melbourne this Friday.

‘PSA: @joshdaicos looking for a Copeland date,’ she wrote.

‘Taking a few days off. Ruptured cyst and appendicitis got me gooooodd!’

Annalise appeared in good spirits, flashing a grin at the camera as she snapped her selfie.  

This follows Annalise turning heads with a beautiful outfit at the 2025 Brownlow Medal count last month.

Okay, let me tell you, she absolutely nailed the red carpet look at the AFL night! She really gave off major Disney princess vibes – I’m talking a gorgeous blue tulle dress. It was the kind of look that just makes you smile, you know? So dreamy! Definitely a fashion moment.

The beautiful dress had a strapless design and a fitted bodice, highlighting her small waist and slim shape.

Her large skirt cascaded from her waist in soft, blended shades of blue tulle, creating a flowing, regal train behind her.

The beautiful blonde kept her jewelry choices minimal, wearing only small diamond stud earrings and, naturally, her dazzling engagement ring.

This year in May, Josh and Annalise announced they were putting off their much-awaited wedding, which quickly became news.

The couple, who got engaged in Greece last September, had initially aimed for a 2025 ceremony.

But speaking at Australian Fashion Week, Annalise confirmed the couple were putting things on hold.

‘We realised there’s a lot that goes into a wedding and we’re in no rush,’ she said.

The glamorous duo have chosen to savour their engagement instead.

‘We’ve been so wrapped up in each other,’ Annalise explained. ‘I haven’t even picked out a dress yet… but we are really excited.’

The pair are currently renovating their newly purchased $2million bayside home.

They plan to turn it into their ‘forever home,’ documenting the journey on Instagram.

This four-bedroom house, originally constructed in the early 1900s, had belonged to the same family for more than fifty years.

They plan to honour the home’s heritage while adding a contemporary flair of their own. 

‘We are pumped to restore her original bones, and add a little bit of spice,’ they posted.

Annaliese is also juggling a budding television career.

Oh my gosh, you guys, she’s *everywhere* now! I was SO excited when she joined Channel Nine and that Players footy program – she totally lit up the screen! And then, can you believe it, she just casually showed up at Fashion Week?! She looked absolutely incredible, honestly. I’ve been following her for ages, and it’s amazing to see her getting all this recognition. I’m seriously obsessed!
