AFL star Bailey Smith stars in new ad which revives controversial early noughties campaign – and his new girlfriend Tammy Hembrow may NOT be happy

I was so surprised to hear about Bailey Smith’s new job! It’s a completely different direction for him, and honestly, I’m a little worried about how his girlfriend, Tammy Hembrow, will react. It seems like it could cause some friction between them, especially with how busy they both are.

Geelong midfielder Patrick Dangerfield, age 24, is featured in a fun new TV commercial for Barry, a low-carb alcoholic drink started by Collingwood players Nick and Josh Daicos.

Barry’s is releasing a new Cherry Vanilla Cola and promoting it with a fun, updated version of their famous 2001 ‘Five Cougars, Thanks’ ad – originally created for Cougar Bourbon – just as the AFL finals begin.

Bailey plays a beautiful bartender who is so striking that a customer, also a woman, starts to wonder if she made the right choice with her drink.

Bailey stated that the campaign is enjoyable, slightly edgy, and a great match for the Barry brand.

We focus on fun, fond memories, and not worrying too much. We’re thrilled with how popular we’ve become in the last two years and are now one of the quickest-growing ready-to-drink brands in Australia.

Carlton player Charlie Curnow, age 28, also appears in the funny ad, which will be shown on TV throughout Australia during the football finals.

Bailey’s girlfriend, Tammy Hembrow, might not be happy with his latest commercial. The ad shows him playfully flirting with a customer who is clearly attracted to him, causing her to mess up her order.

It might be a little uncomfortable for the fitness influencer to watch a flirty scene, especially since she’s still getting to know the Geelong midfielder after weeks of speculation about their relationship.

The pair are said to have cooled their romance one month after they went Instagram official.

Last month, the Geelong midfielder and a fitness influencer were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner date at the popular Entrecôte restaurant in Prahran, Melbourne. Photos showed a sweet moment between them, with his hand resting on her leg.

Their date on Friday night proved what everyone had been guessing: these two are falling for each other.

Tammy looked striking in a pink dress from Australian label With Jéan.

Bailey turned away from the camera while the couple enjoyed their meal of oysters, steak, and a large portion of French fries.

The Melbourne date follows weeks of sightings that kept fans and media guessing.

Last month, the couple was seen showing affection and strolling hand-in-hand on the beach on the Gold Coast.

It was clear they had a natural connection, and they seemed completely at ease despite the cameras following their every move.

Tammy only split from husband Matt Zukowski in June.

Matt, 30, and Tammy got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating.

The couple married in November 2024, but rumors of a breakup started early this year. They officially announced their divorce in June.
