Nathan Buckley and Brodie Ryan have split. 

On a Tuesday Instagram Story post by the ex-AFL player (aged 52), it was revealed that he and the striking brunette (aged 35) had unexpectedly shared some big news.

‘To the followers of the “Brodes and Bucks” journey’ the former WAG began. 

‘After much reflection and consideration, Nath and I have decided to part ways’ she continued.

I appreciate your thoughtful messages and encouragement during these challenging months. Your kindness is deeply appreciated, and I can’t thank you enough for your understanding and compassion.

This wasn’t a hasty choice; we appreciate the time spent together, the moments we cherished, and the backing we got from one another, as well as from everyone else.

Although we are no longer a romantic pair, I will continue to hold Nathan in high regard due to the strong bond of friendship that grew between us around three to four years back. My affection for him, as well as his sons and our beloved dog Tank, remains unwavering.

In simpler terms, Brodie expressed gratitude for your patience and compassion during the last few months, which extends into the current transitional phase as well.

The tragic conclusion unfolded mere months after they elevated their romance, traveling together to the idyllic Fijian haven for a unique family event.

Ryan shared with the Herald Sun that it was a large, family vacation involving everyone from Nath’s family, during his conversation at the Australian Open.

It’s not the couple’s first getaway, they’ve enjoyed several mini-breaks so far on homegrown soil. 

She shared that we’ve taken a road trip in our campervan along the New South Wales coast, visiting places like Eildon, Fairhaven, and Sorrento. Additionally, we plan to travel to Queensland as well,” she informed the magazine.

Previously, it was disclosed that Brodie and Nathan found common ground due to their shared backgrounds, following the start of their relationship in 2022.

Regardless of a difference of 17 years, the Melbourne businesswoman stated that they share many similarities and continually motivate one another to strive for personal excellence daily.

Nath and I have always been passionate about assisting others to reach their full potential, focusing on their mental health and overall wellness, and making a positive impact on others. These aspects were key drawers for us from the start,” she expressed.

‘We had very similar upbringings and share a lot of the same values due to this,’ she continued.

Nathan’s former spouse, Tania, has finally spoken up about the speculations surrounding her engagement with her new beau, Marcus ‘Marco’ Kelly.

2024 saw speculations arise in May about Tania preparing for her wedding, following sightings of her sporting a significant diamond ring on her left hand.

She was seen taking a leisurely walk around Melbourne’s Botanical Gardens accompanied by a friend, donning the ring.

It is understood that the couple have been dating for some time before they went public. 

Nathan and Tania tied the knot on December 2002, and declared their separation on a similar December date, 18 years after their wedding anniversary.

The duo made a declaration through Tania’s Instagram account earlier on, revealing that they had parted ways nearly a year prior.

They share two teenage sons, Jett, 18, and Ayce, 16, who live with Tania.
