Augment your Pokémon GO experience this August with the return of Adventure Week! Explore new locales and discover hidden gems while enjoying this event. Revitalize PokéStops with enticing bonuses, and hatch Pokémons as you traverse unfamiliar territories.
Adventure Week runs from Friday, August 2 until Monday, August 12.
Here’s everything that the 2024 edition of Adventure Week in Pokémon GO has in store.
Adventure Week Bonuses
- 2× XP for spinning PokéStops.
- 5× XP for spinning a PokéStop for the first time.
- 2× XP for hatching Pokémon.
- Increased chance to encounter the following Shiny Pokémon: Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura.

Paid Timed Research
In Pokémon GO, trainers can frequently purchase a Time-Limited Research Pass for $2. This pass grants the following rewards upon completion:
- Two Incubators
- One Super Incubator
- Encounters with event-themed Pokémon
As a big fan of Timed Research, I want to remind you not to let your progress slip away! Remember that this research project has an expiration date and will come to an end along with Adventure Week on August 12. Make sure to finish all the tasks before then to fully reap the rewards.
