Adrian Portelli delivers brutal parting shot to The Block as he shares major announcement: ‘The gloves are off!’
Adrian Portelli has officially turned his back on The Block.
The 36-year-old businessman, who has invested millions in purchasing homes during the past three seasons, took to social media on Thursday to announce that he is permanently parting ways with the Channel Nine show.
I bet my old high school teachers didn’t imagine… that I’D BE HOSTING A TV SHOW ON CHANNEL SEVEN,” he posted, sharing a picture with Dr. Chris Brown.
It seems the Reno Games could use a bit of polishing. A new coat is needed, it’s time! The competition is about to get real – the gloves are coming off. Brace yourself for my Reno Rules, arriving at Seven soon!
Recently, Seven unveiled a fresh home renovation series called “My Reno Rules,” which was created by the same team behind “MasterChef Australia” from Endemol Shine.

The event will involve four teams of home restorers working on two dilapidated homes, situated side by side, in the city of Melbourne.
The teams are battling it out for an enormous reward, as the ultimate event will present two homes, completely remodeled and equipped, as prizes.
Before the start of the new season, Scott Cam from The Block issued a caution to billionaire entrepreneur Adrian Portelli.
Scott begged Portelli not to attend this year’s auction to give others a chance to own a home.
I shared my sincere feelings with Adrian, saying, “We’d prefer if you didn’t join us next year, if that’s possible for you.” However, I understand that it’s a public event and he has the freedom to make his own decisions, as he recently expressed on Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie.
He expressed uncertainty about attending, but there’s still a chance. Regarding the block house event, we’d like to extend an invitation to parents, just in case he can’t make it after all.
‘If Adrian comes and wants to buy the lot of them, well, that rules them out,’ Scott said.
Ideally, we’ll welcome some real estate advocates who will be there to assist families. Let’s hope they attend and actively participate in the market this year.

At the culmination of The Block in 2024, Portelli wrote himself into the record books by acquiring all five properties for an astounding $15 million.
He made Maddy and Charlotte Harry record-breaking winners by purchasing their house for $3.5 million at a young age.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but be thrilled by the constant giveaways of properties from The Block by Portelli’s LMCT+! Last year, their grand gesture was the breathtaking $5 million acquisition of Steph and Gian’s triumphant abode – talk about living the dream!
Not long after purchasing all the residential properties on Phillip Island, Adrian unveiled his generous ‘resort giveaway’ initiative, which was publicized through LMCT+.
In the previous year, he openly admitted during The Kyle and Jackie O Show that he isn’t fond of Phillip Island. As a result, he plans to donate all five of his properties, bundled together as a ‘resort’, in a raffle.
