Adolescence viewers shocked by secret detail of episode 3 after it’s revealed on Instagram

The Netflix series “Adolescence” has garnered praise not only for its thought-provoking themes, but also for the exceptional single-shot filming technique used in every episode.

After experiencing tremendous success on streaming platforms, the intense drama created by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne has recently unveiled a hidden truth connected to one of its highly acclaimed episodes.

In chapter three, psychologist Briony Ariston (played by Erin Doherty from “The Crown”) conducts a counseling session with teenager Jamie Miller (played by newcomer Owen Cooper), who stands accused of killing a classmate at his school.

In this intense scenario, I find myself grappling with some challenging moments as Jamie pours out his emotions of detachment, and at times, even exhibits aggressive behavior towards Briony. On the other side, the psychologist maintains her professional demeanor throughout, but cracks the instant the session concludes, revealing her emotional vulnerability.

On Instagram, wig artist Samuel James showcased photos of the custom-made wig he designed for Briony in this particular episode, along with a picture of Doherty during the fitting session. The post also featured the famous musical “Wicked” where Samuel James is known for creating the hairdos.

The copper haired, shoulder-length wig was so convincing that it tricked even the most observant spectators. Fans of the show and some professionals in the field confessed they had failed to notice this particular detail.

For the first time, I failed to notice that a character was wearing a wig on-screen. Usually, I can spot it immediately, but this time, kudos to them for their excellent work!
