Ade: Agent Bunny Analysis – Should you Pull?

Ade’s maid dress really held her back… in more ways than one.

Overview

  • One of the strongest solo buffers in the game.
  • Buffs non-pierce units better than both Grave and Mari.
  • Since most battles are mid-long range, Ade can easily hit effective range in boss fights.
  • Her most important buff is tied to burst, and max stack s1 ensures permanent s1/s2 buffs in the vast majority of encounters.
  • Better buffer than Blanc for Tetra tower.

Should You Pull?

Okay, so things are a bit tricky right now. Ade: Agent Bunny is *probably* going to be super strong for raids and Tetra Tower, but we also have the Resident Evil collab and the anniversary event coming up soon. If you seriously need a good B2 support unit – like, you don’t have Crown, Grave, Mari, or even the Blanc and Noir combo – then yeah, you should definitely go for Ade. Otherwise, you might want to save your resources for what’s coming next!

If you’ve developed enough B2 units and aren’t focused on achieving the highest raid scores right away, you might want to wait until after the Bunny Ade banner ends before getting her. It’s also smart to see how strong the units from the Resident Evil collaboration turn out to be before deciding whether to pull for them. Remember, Bunny Ade will become available again in the future.

Newbie/Incomplete Box Section

Agent Bunny is a support sniper who primarily boosts her allies’ attack damage. While she can also increase pierce damage, her biggest strength is the significant attack damage buff she provides to the entire team.

Let’s compare how much Ade strengthens his teammates at once to the powerful bursts of damage from Grave and Mari.

Ade: Agent Bunny

Attack Damage: 55.04%

Pierce Damage: 28.49%

Caster ATK: 15.2% on ‘effective range’ full-charge attack.

Grave

Attack Damage: 48%

Pierce Damage: 40%

Mari

Attack Damage: 40.99%

Pierce Damage: 40.99% on core hit

Caster ATK: 30.78% for 5 sec.

Mari can provide stronger buffs to her team, but those buffs don’t last as long, which can limit how much damage they help with. Ade’s buffs, on the other hand, last longer and will consistently be active during most boss fights because most bosses stay at a distance.

Although Grave and Mari boost Pierce Damage more than Ade, Ade provides a stronger boost to overall Attack Damage. Plus, Ade’s Caster ATK buff is consistently active and easier to get than Mari’s, which is only temporary. Because most Nikkes focus on Attack Damage rather than Pierce Damage, Ade is generally a more useful support character for most teams, and she’s also much easier to unlock.

Skill 1: Agent’s Gaze

This ability triggers whenever you successfully land a fully charged attack on an enemy within range. It benefits all of your allies.

Increases your attack power by 15.2% of your caster’s attack power for 5 seconds. This effect triggers when you fully charge an attack and applies to yourself. Additionally, the Spy Lens increases your minimum effective range by 4.44% per stack, up to a maximum of 10 stacks, and each stack lasts for 5 seconds.

If Ade hits an enemy with a fully charged attack from the right distance, all her teammates will get a boost to their magical attack power. Using a full charge also builds up her special skill, extending the range at which she can activate this buff, making it easier to consistently benefit the team.

It’s simple to tell if a non-charging weapon is in range – the aiming reticle turns blue. But this doesn’t work for charge weapons like Rocket Launchers, which don’t get a range bonus. The charge indicator on the reticle obscures the view for sniper rifles.

Okay, so I’ve been checking out Ade, and it’s pretty interesting. If you stack her S1 to the max, her attack range actually gets surprisingly short – almost mid-range! When you combine that with her burst skill, her minimum range gets *really* close. It’s so close, in fact, that she can activate her S1 even if there aren’t any enemies right next to her. Honestly, enemies rarely get that close, and none of the bosses do unless they’re using a specific attack. It’s a cool little detail I noticed!

Dealing damage to enemies within range increases Ade’s damage by 30% (this bonus doesn’t multiply with other damage boosts). More importantly, it consistently activates and maintains her key buffs – increasing her Caster Attack and allowing her Skill 2 to pierce enemy defenses – making them almost always active instead of only lasting for a short time (5 seconds instead of 1 second, and she generates bursts quickly).

Skill 2: Agent’s Movement

This ability triggers when you successfully land a fully charged attack on an enemy within range. It then benefits all of your allies.

Increases Pierce damage by 18.36% for 5 seconds. This effect only triggers when Spy Lens is fully charged and applies to the user. Continuously grants increased Pierce and a 16% Attack boost.

If Ade attacks enemies within her range, she’ll also inflict pierce damage on them. This is most useful when paired with allies who also deal pierce damage, as it won’t have any effect on Nikkes who don’t have that ability.

When Ade’s Skill 1 is fully charged, she’ll repeatedly attack with her basic attack, which helps her deal more damage quickly in regular gameplay and boosts her normal attack power.

Burst: Cutting-Edge Agent Equipment

Cooldown: 20s

■ Affects self.

This ability increases allies’ minimum effective range by 55.56% and their attack damage by 55.04% for 10 seconds. It also boosts pierce damage by 10.13% for the same duration.

When Ade uses her ultimate ability, the range of the ability, combined with having a fully charged first skill (S1), lets her repeatedly apply and refresh S1 to nearly all enemies. This means she can keep the benefits of both her first and second skills active indefinitely.

Most notably, this ability provides a significant attack damage boost to all teammates for 10 seconds. It makes Ade a remarkably powerful solo support character, even before factoring in the additional pierce damage the buff provides.

Ade’s ability to increase damage works really well with other damage boosts, especially those that focus on piercing defenses. This makes her a fantastic support character for almost any team, and she’s particularly strong when paired with allies who benefit from increased piercing power. Even without that focus, her general attack damage boost is simply very effective.

Campaign

Ade is a strong choice for campaign missions, particularly if you don’t have more powerful units available. Although she doesn’t offer much support beyond damage, her ability to significantly boost attack power quickly eliminates weaker enemies and helps build up burst damage once her skill 1 is fully charged.

When Ade’s special ability is fully charged, you can rapidly fire to deal significant damage to both enemies and objects in the environment. Remember, Ade only gains the ability to pierce through enemies permanently when her special ability is fully charged.

Ade’s buff lasts for 5 seconds and requires 10 stacks to reach its full power. To keep the buff active and prevent the stacks from decreasing, Ade needs to land a fully charged attack within that 5-second window.

In Tetra Tower, Ade is generally much more effective than Blanc. Although Blanc has a stronger healing ability, Ade’s damage buffs are more useful than Blanc’s debuffs. Debuffs aren’t as reliable in normal levels because they don’t automatically apply to newly spawned enemies – you need to reapply them each time.

Arena

Ade is a Sniper Rifle Nikke who relies on standard burst fire and doesn’t have any abilities to create extra damage. Because of this, she struggles to perform well in Arena. Although her damage buff is strong, she lacks other helpful skills.

Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid

Ade’s greatest strength is her versatility. Her powerful buff is among the best in the game, making her a valuable addition to almost any team focused on maximizing damage output. However, because she doesn’t offer any other support abilities, she’ll likely need a teammate who can provide healing or shielding to withstand bosses that inflict heavy, sustained damage.

When facing easier bosses, Ade will be a key support character for any strong team because of her powerful buffs. She provides a significant, immediate boost to damage, and since most bosses fight from a distance, her smaller attack buff will consistently increase the team’s overall damage output.

Like Mari and Grave, Ade increases pierce damage. However, Grave and Mari provide even stronger overall benefits to pierce units than Ade does. If you already have either Grave or Mari and want to boost your pierce units, they’re generally a better choice for your team than Ade.

Strengths

  • One of the strongest buffs in a single slot.
  • Her most powerful buff can work on any team, not just pierce-based teams.
  • Good burst gen once she max stacks s1 and unlocks permanent pierce in normal maps.
  • Due to how long her effective range can become, S1 and S2 buffs are almost always permanent.
  • Wow, she’s so sexy…

Weaknesses

  • No utility outside of buffing DPS.

Doll Priority

While Ade isn’t the most powerful attacker, she’s a reliable support character. She’ll be consistently useful in raids, and if you need help with campaign stages, she’s a great option. Plus, she’s expected to be the best support buffer for Tetra Tower for a long time. Because of how often she’ll be used, I’d recommend prioritizing her as a High-priority unit to collect.
