The TV series Lovesick is now available on a new streaming service in the UK. The comedy originally ran from 2014 to 2018, starting on Channel 4 before finishing its run on Netflix.
The show, originally called Scrotal Recall, centers around Dylan Witter (Johnny Flynn) and his friends at university. After contracting chlamydia, Dylan has to get in touch with all of his former sexual partners.
You can now watch all three seasons of the series on ITVX, as it’s been added to the streaming service.

I was stoked to see the cast for Lovesick! Daniel Ings, who I recognized from The Gold and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is in it, as is Joshua McGuire, also from The Gold. Plus, Antonia Thomas from The Good Doctor and Hannah Britland who was in Innocent are both part of the show, which is awesome!
The series, created by Tom Edge of Vigil, was praised by one IMDb user as “addictive, hysterical, and exceptionally well-written and acted.”

One viewer described the show as beautifully romantic, tender, and genuinely funny. They added that it uniquely balances feelings of longing and heartbreak with heartwarming portrayals of friendship and love.
One viewer likened the show to romantic comedies like Four Weddings and a Funeral and Love Actually, praising its ability to blend lighthearted humor with genuine heart and explore the complexities of love and relationships.
One viewer said that Lovesick is a show you’ll connect with because it’s funny, sad, and heartwarming, especially if you enjoy romantic stories with a bit of suspense about whether the couple will end up together.

One viewer said it was one of the funniest shows they’d seen in ages, and they binged all the episodes. They found each one hilarious, and it reminded them of the British sitcom Coupling, which they also enjoyed.
In a 2019 interview with Digital Spy, actress Jessica Ellerby discussed the show’s reception in different countries, noting that it didn’t initially gain much traction in the UK – it ‘kind of flopped’ at first.
She added that Netflix in the US took a chance on the show, and it really resonated with American audiences, which was fantastic.
Lovesick is streaming now on ITVX.
