Adam Peaty’s Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones cuts ties with swimmer on Instagram after wedding snub – but still follows his estranged mother amid bitter family feud

Katya Jones has seemingly ended her friendship with Adam Peaty by unfollowing him on Instagram. This follows her not being invited to his wedding to Holly Ramsay last month.

The 36-year-old celebrity competed on the 2021 season of the BBC show Strictly, and was partnered with Adam, 31. They reached the ninth-place position.

Although Katya and another Strictly contestant became close friends during the show, she wasn’t seen at the ceremony with other competitors like Dan Walker and Sara Davies.

Recently, the dancer stopped following Adam, but continues to follow his mother, Caroline, despite the ongoing conflict within his family.

Caroline was heartbroken when she was uninvited to her son’s wedding in November, following a disagreement about not being included in her future daughter-in-law’s bachelorette party.

Around this time, Katya removed herself from social media, describing it as ‘toxic,’ and shared that she’d spent the weekend at home. She didn’t mention anything about a wedding.

She posted a photo of herself reading by the fireplace and explained she’d been away from social media for a week because she’d deleted Instagram and TikTok. She was therefore sharing an older post.

The influencer arrived at the awards ceremony on Saturday keeping her dress a secret. However, she reportedly changed into two dresses for the reception, including the same dress her mother wore at her wedding to Gordon.

Tana and Gordon recently marked 29 years of marriage. For the celebration, Tana, a mother of six, wore a beautiful wedding dress with a V-neck and short sleeves.

For the wedding, Holly and Tana coordinated their outfits right down to their shoes. Holly wore white Amina Muaddi slingback heels, while Tana chose the same style in black.

Reports indicate that Mark, Adam’s father, was the sole guest—aside from Beth—invited to the wedding, but he was instructed to sit in the back, with those who came as guests of other guests.
