Bethany Peaty, sister of swimmer Adam Peaty, just shared the gorgeous bridesmaid gifts she received from his new wife, Holly Ramsay. It sounds like Holly really went all out to show her appreciation to the bridal party ahead of their Saturday wedding – so thoughtful!
After his mother, Caroline, was asked not to attend the event, the Olympic swimmer’s sister seems to be the only family member still speaking to him. The rest of the family is reportedly estranged.
Tilly, 24, and Megan, 27, stood with their sister Holly as bridesmaids, and the three of them wore identical red satin dresses.
Bethany shared photos on Instagram of the thoughtful, personalized gifts Holly gave her before their special day.
First up was a pot of the award-wining Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which retails for £79.
Holly had a flower pot specially engraved with the words ‘Magic Beth.’ Bethany, in return, wrote ‘Love you Holly’ on a card to go with it.
She also gave her a thoughtful gift: pillowcases personalized with ‘Beth’ and ‘Bridesmaid’, and bags embroidered with both Bethany’s name and her partner Dan’s name.
I was so excited to see Bethany open a beautiful gift – it looked like a comfy black pajama set, complete with a sleep mask! Recent reports indicate that Mark, Adam’s father, was the sole guest invited to the wedding besides Beth. However, he was informed he would be seated at the back, with those who came as guests’ plus ones.
During the wedding, the bride’s father, Gordon, apparently made a harsh joke at the expense of the groom’s parents in his speech.
I was really surprised to read that Gordon’s weighed in on the situation with Megan and Adam! Apparently, he told people Tana would be a great mother to both of them, which feels… a lot. And to top it off, The Sun is reporting that Adam has blocked his entire family from contacting him. It’s all getting so messy and heartbreaking to watch.
