Adam Peaty’s mother posts a message about ‘dark times’ after Gordon Ramsay hit back at ‘bullying’ claims amid bitter family feud

Apparently, Ramsay responded to accusations of being a bully, and now she’s hinting at… well, everything. Olympic athlete Adam, age 31, married Holly, the 26-year-old daughter of a famous TV chef, at Bath Abbey in December. The wedding took place during a family disagreement, leading to Adam’s mother being uninvited and only his sister, Bethany, attending from his side of the family.

Following accusations from the Peaty family that he was a ‘bully’ – a claim he responded to by saying their falling out was their own doing – Gordon, 59, strongly disagreed with their statements, calling them untrue and excessively negative.

Caroline recently posted a peaceful sunset photo with a heartfelt message: ‘You show that even after incredibly difficult times, it’s possible to remain kind, positive, genuine, and loving.’

The chef responded to the family’s claims last week, telling The Sun he’s definitely not a bully and was upset by the suggestion that he was. He recently walked his daughter down the aisle.

That’s completely untrue. It was upsetting to witness their constant stream of negativity, which seemed to fuel itself.

‘But Adam is an incredible young lad and he and Holly are a wonderful, happy, young couple.’ 

Gordon Ramsay previously stated to the Daily Mail that he and his wife, Tana, hadn’t done anything wrong and had treated the Peaty family exceptionally well during the preparations for their son’s wedding, despite what some reports claimed.

But one relative claimed the TV chef had now ‘pushed the family too far’.

They said: ‘How bl***y dare they. The sheer gall of them’.

The Ramsays weren’t kind to Caroline; they completely dismissed her. They acted as if she didn’t matter, and Mrs. Ramsay never even responded to her messages.

They also revealed that the celebratory lunch promised after the engagement never actually happened.

The Daily Mail have contacted Gordon Ramsay’s representatives for comment.

According to reports, the family has lost hope of repairing their relationship with their son following a recent comment he made on social media.

In a comment on Adam’s wedding video, the chef playfully called himself ‘dad,’ responding to the Olympian’s declaration that he’ll ‘always choose’ his wife, Holly.

A source close to the family said it’s been a very difficult and emotional period for everyone. They are still processing the situation and accepting that Adam has made his decision.

According to The Sun, Gordon Ramsay complimented his daughter’s appearance in his wedding speech, jokingly telling his son-in-law, ‘Look at Tana – that’s what you have to look forward to.’

The article also reported that he made a hurtful comment to his daughter, Holly, about her father not being around, saying, ‘It’s a shame you don’t have the same [situation].’

The swimmer’s mother was reportedly very upset and hurt that Ramsay mentioned their disagreement in his speech.

According to a family insider, the celebrity chef’s comment during the speech deeply upset her. They believe the remark was intentionally hurtful and pre-planned, describing it as cruel and very painful.

However, Ramsay defended his wedding speech when he spoke on This Morning in January, maintaining it was ‘perfect and heartfelt’.

He admitted it was really difficult. As a father of three daughters, he’d always imagined this moment, and when it finally came, he was completely overwhelmed.
