Adam Peaty prepares for today’s wedding to Holly Ramsay as security guards go on patrol with dogs ahead of union that has torn his family apart

Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty is getting married to Holly Ramsay today, but the event has been overshadowed by a family conflict that has caused a rift within his own family.

Olympic swimmer Tom Peaty, age 30, is getting married to Gordon Ramsay’s daughter today at Bath Abbey. However, the wedding has been overshadowed by a family disagreement, and as a result, Peaty’s family has been uninvited.

It was difficult to imagine, just moments before, that Adam Peaty and his future wife were involved in a very public and upsetting family dispute. He shared a photo of the wedding location with the simple caption, ‘Morning of our wedding,’ seemingly unaware of the drama unfolding.

It looks like swimmer Peaty might have been taking a moment to relax with a sunrise swim before the big party, as seen in a photo of him by the pool overlooking the countryside.

Guests started arriving at Bath House this morning before the wedding ceremony. The Olympian, dressed in a sharp black suit, arrived soon after, holding his son’s hand.

Security personnel, including guards and dogs, were seen patrolling the grounds of Kin House, a historic manor in Wiltshire where the wedding reception will be held.

 

However, 120 miles away in Staffordshire, his parents, Caroline and Mark, along with the rest of their family, are deeply saddened. They won’t be attending the wedding, as reports suggest the couple has asked them not to come.

Caroline initially considered disrupting the wedding, but she’s changed her mind. She explained it would be too upsetting and she doesn’t want to ruin the celebration for him.

She had previously stated firmly that she would attend and watch from the street, but she later changed her mind.

But her husband, Mark, convinced her not to go to the wedding, explaining it would be too emotionally difficult for her.

The Peaty family still lives in their Uttoxeter home – the very same house where Caroline used to drive her son to all his many practices and competitions years ago.

Oh my gosh, they’re finally putting the last touches on the roses outside Bath Abbey! It’s where he’s getting married, to her – the woman he loves. Honestly, it feels like everything is changing, like this wedding is the moment things will never be the same between us. It’s… it’s a little heartbreaking, if I’m being honest, like there’s no going back to how things were.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by the buzz around big events, and even hours before the wedding of the year was set to begin at this incredible historic location, a small crowd had already gathered, peering past the velvet rope, eager to catch a glimpse of the action. It’s amazing how anticipation builds, isn’t it?

The Ramsay family and their friends, the Beckhams, are expected to attend, but David and Victoria Beckham’s son, Brooklyn, will be absent due to a family disagreement.

Six weeks ago, Caroline publicly shared her sadness and confusion following a major family argument. The conflict became public after Holly’s elaborate bachelorette party, from which Caroline was excluded.

Instagram photos from the stylish event showed the future bride with her loved ones, including Victoria Beckham and Adam’s sister Bethany, but noticeably excluded Caroline.

She was at home, looking after Adam’s son, George, five, from his previous relationship.
