Actor Brandon Sklenar’s Head-Splitting On-Set Accident Exposed

1923 star Brandon Sklenar has revealed his shocking onset injury in a candid new interview.

34-year-old actor, who has recently stepped back from the controversy surrounding “It Ends With Us,” had a chat with his co-star Sydney Sweeney about the most foolish manner in which he once hurt himself while filming.

In an interview with Interview Magazine, the Spencer Dutton star confessed that shooting a scene in 1923 by self-inflicting a head wound with a helmet was quite foolish.

In a life-threatening situation, I found myself forcefully pressing it against his neck to protect myself. When we eventually fired, I managed to position the helmet in front of me sufficiently for safety.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, let me share an intriguing experience: I found myself in a unique position where I needed to simulate an action from a specific perspective. This involved delivering a forceful impact onto a prop, replicating the sensation of striking someone’s neck. Due to the shooting angle, I had to position the helmet extremely close to me for optimal capture. The director gave the command: “Just let loose and go wild on it.” With only one opportunity to get it right, I had to give it my all, channeling a level of intensity that could be best described as ‘going ape-st’ on the prop. It was an exhilarating moment, pushing boundaries in the name of authenticity and storytelling.

I accidentally struck myself below my left eye, causing a rather deep cut. They had to use superglue to close the wound.

The terrible accident resulted in a noticeable scar, which is located near the existing scar I already had.

1923 has wrapped up its second season, leaving viewers emotional after the tragic ending that saw the demise of seven principal characters.

Following Sklenar (the actor portraying Atlas Corrigan in It Ends With Us) was queried at the airport about any motivational messages he might share with his fellow cast members from the movie.

Brandon subtly responded, suggesting they should “act with kindness and empathy,” as he headed towards the luggage collection point.

A significant remark was made about the ongoing legal debate involving Blake and Justin, more than a month following an uncomfortable attempt by him to avoid addressing the issue after the Oscars ceremony.

To begin with, Brandon had been quite vocal in expressing his backing towards Blake. This was particularly evident in December following the publication of the New York Times article.

The controversy started in December when Lively, aged 37, lodged a complaint accusing Baldoni, who is also 41, of sexual harassment on their film set. She also claimed that a negative campaign was created against her, which he denies. This situation has since evolved and remains ongoing.

Skelnar, who portrayed Lively’s romantic interest in the movie, has frequently been questioned on the topic ever since it became a hot topic.

The controversy started in December when Lively, aged 37, made a complaint claiming sexual harassment during the production of their movie, allegedly by Baldoni, 41. She also accused him of orchestrating a defamatory campaign, which he denies. This situation has since developed and remains ongoing.

Initially, when The New York Times published the complaint in December, Brandon shared a link to the related article on his Instagram Stories, expressing solidarity with Blake.

He penned, “Please take a moment to read this,” and included both Lively’s handle and a heart symbol with vibrant red color next to it.

During the interview with The Hollywood Reporter at the Vanity Fair Oscars event in March, Sklenar, aged 34, was questioned about his role in supporting Lively.

Despite acknowledging that the situation was challenging, Sklenar skillfully steered the conversation away from specific details by focusing instead on the movie’s broader message and its influence on viewers.

Or:
Sklenar acknowledged the difficulty of the situation but cleverly avoided giving a direct response by shifting the discussion to the movie’s main theme and how it has resonated with audiences.

He started by acknowledging the challenging circumstances, adding, “I merely pray that everyone keeps in mind the essence of our film – love is at its heart, as well as championing women and aiding those facing hardships.

‘I hope the impact of this film lingers in people’s minds, reminding them of its message and purpose for being created. I want folks to continue cherishing that essence – the fundamental ideas behind it.’

During a chat with Gayle King, Sklenar adopted a less biased position regarding the recurring matter that was brought up.

In a conversation on CBS Mornings, the 70-year-old interviewer posed a challenging question to Sklenar, asking, “Are you more aligned with Blake or Justin?

Speaking about the upcoming season of “1923,” Sklenar gave a chuckle and expressed his stance as being part of ‘Team It Ends With Us.’

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share some thoughts about the ongoing legal matters between Lively and Baldoni. Personally, I find myself reminding everyone of the core reason we created this movie and the values it represents. My hope is that we can all maintain a focus on these principles, rather than getting caught up in the legalities.

A person I hold dear has experienced similar struggles as Emily Blunt’s character in this film for quite some time now. I’ve been there with her, offering support through her journey, making this movie incredibly meaningful to both of us.

‘It was one of the reasons that me doing that movie gave her the strength to change her life.

It’s regrettable when a thing loses its original essence and becomes complicated instead.

In a lawsuit filed in December, Lively claimed that Baldoni had engaged in sexual harassment and orchestrated a smear campaign against her. Conversely, Baldoni counter-sued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, and their publicist Leslie Sloane in February, alleging defamation and extortion in a suit worth $400 million.

Baldoni refutes the claims made by Lively, whereas Lively, Reynolds, and Sloane all reject the accusations leveled against them by Baldoni.

Baldoni says he’s not guilty of what Lively accused him of, and Lively, Reynolds, and Sloane claim they didn’t do whatever Baldoni is accusing them of.

As an avid social media user, I must admit that the legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni didn’t come entirely unexpected. For quite some time, it seemed like a simmering disagreement was on the horizon based on the subtle signs we had been observing.

At that point, Sklenar spoke about the reported disagreement, reminding viewers yet again to keep the primary theme of the movie in mind.

In a long post on Instagram, Brandon asked fans to avoid judging the female characters from the movie and instead concentrate on its underlying themes.

‘He expressed that Colleen and the other female cast members symbolize hope, resilience, and self-improvement as they strive for a superior life.’

Criticizing the women who poured their heart and soul into creating this movie, as they are passionate advocates for its message, appears to be contradictory and undermines the very essence of the film. Instead, it’s entirely opposed to the message itself.

It doesn’t matter, and it shouldn’t, if there were issues behind the scenes while making this movie, as our goals and intentions remain clear. It’s unfortunate to witness the level of negativity that has been circulating online.
