Hey everyone, I’m really excited to share that Acram Digital, the folks behind games like Stone Age: Digital Edition and Concordia Digital Edition, just launched a beta test for their solo strategy game, Dawnmaker, on both Android and iOS! It’s being developed by Arpentor Studio, and you can actually pre-register globally right now. I played it on PC earlier this year when it came out in 2024 and it’s awesome, so I can’t wait to try it on mobile!

Construct buildings and improve your central lighthouse to repel the Smog and unlock more space

Dawnmaker, a strategy game combining city and deck building, is now available on mobile as a beta release. The game takes place on the continent of Heksiga, which is shrouded in a poisonous Smog, and challenges you to construct thriving cities to restore life and light to the world.

This game immediately reminded me of Dorfromantik, which I absolutely love. It’s another great strategy puzzle game. As you build your city, you unlock stronger cards, and honestly, I’m really excited to see how different card and building combos will play out in each playthrough. It seems like there’s a lot of potential for interesting interactions!

As you play, the game gets harder because you have less space, and upgrading your lighthouse is crucial for defending against the Smog. I also appreciate that you can still develop farms, build factories, research new technologies, and even create valuable Eclairium resources, all within the limited area. If you’re looking for a game that feels like a board game, this is a great choice.
