As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the release of the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection by Capcom has sent a wave of nostalgia coursing through me. Having played the original DS titles back in the day, I can’t help but feel a sense of joy and anticipation seeing these games come to modern platforms with all their lush HD visuals and quality-of-life improvements.
Today, Capcom has unveiled the refreshed “Ace Attorney Investigations Collection,” which now includes two more games from the Ace Attorney series. This updated version offers stunning high-definition visuals, the option to use new high-definition sprites or the classic pixel art sprites from the original games, and numerous enhancements for a smoother gaming experience.
The collection includes both 2009 Nintendo DS title Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, as well as 2011 sequel Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit, which, at long last, makes its debut in the west. There’s a Story Mode, too, enabling you to experience the intrigue without getting stuck, and vivid;y animated characters from a talented team led by original character designer Tatsuro Iwamoto.
Topping things off is a Gallery brimming with artwork, sketches, character animations, music, and more, including a completely new track, and special arrangements of five songs from the first Ace Attorney Investigations game. You can pick up Ace Attorney Investigations Collection for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, priced $39.99/£34.99. There’s also a free demo to sample with save transfer to the full game.
