Accolade Sports Collection to Bring Five ’90s Sporting Classics to Xbox Next Week
Teamwork between Atati and QUByte Interactive will soon make the Accolade Sports Collection, a compilation of five ’90s retro sports games, available on consoles and PCs. Among these games is the former title known as Barkley Shut Up and Jam, which was renamed after the removal of Sir Charles’ likeness.
The Accolade Sports Collection encompasses several games: the baseball titles “Hardball!” and “Hardball II”, athletic competitions for summer (running events in “Summer Challenge”) and winter (skiing events in “Winter Challenge”), and the game formerly known as “Shut Up and Jam”, now titled “Hoops Shut Up and Jam”.
Each game offers save points, visual enhancements, tutorials, and other user-friendly additions, while still preserving the authentic experience. The Accolade Sports Collection is set to debut on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 30th. Check out the trailers below for more details.
