The variant cover by Jock, a retailer incentive with a 1:50 ratio, is currently going for more than $50. Exclusive covers created for individual retailers by artists like Dave Wilkins, Tyler Kirkham, and Clay Mann are also fetching similar, and sometimes even higher, prices.
The price increase was anticipated, given the significant interest surrounding the issue and its dramatic content. However, the speed at which the price has risen is remarkable. Considering that approximately 300,000 copies of Absolute Batman #15 are available, this jump in price on the resale market is especially noteworthy.
