Abby Lee Miller, well-known from Dance Moms, claims that singer Tate McRae ignored her during an encounter at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
The dance instructor, aged 59, commented on the 21-year-old pop sensation, stating, “I don’t know her very well, but I know her enough to acknowledge ‘hello.’
As I recounted to Danny Murphy on the Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, just recently, I had the privilege of crossing paths with her at Craig’s. We shared a meal there about two weeks back, yet, astonishingly, she failed to acknowledge my presence!
The bold dance instructor, recognized for her candid assessments, reminisced, saying she often held her head high.
Prior to achieving success as a top music artist, Tate had already showcased his dancing talent by reaching the finals of So You Think You Can Dance in the year 2016.
Her journey overlapped with Miller’s, whose students competed in her dance community.

In the interview, Miller chose to discuss a popular TikTok video featuring Tate winning first place at a 2015 competition.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I had the pleasure of witnessing an exhilarating spectacle where I, myself, found myself competing against some talented dancers from Dance Moms, Maddie Ziegler among them. However, in this particular event, it was the sports car creator who took the spotlight and emerged victorious.
As an utterly devoted admirer, let me set the record straight. “I’ve been working tirelessly with this incredible troupe of mine, and we managed to choreograph stunning dances within just two short days! However, it’s essential to clarify that some of our young, talented performers were out of their usual classroom setting during this whirlwind creation process.
She mentioned that Tate likely spent approximately six months preparing the dance prior to the competition, and performed the same routine at each subsequent contest.
Each week, the lively host of Mad House, formerly a tough instructor, boasted that her team constantly changed their performance routines.
‘Nobody ever did what we did,’ she proudly remembered. ‘We did 637 numbers.’
McRae’s slight didn’t stop Abby from giving her professional praise.
She finds it impressive that she manages to kick her leg up during her performance, especially while she’s singing, is what she commented about the singer’s unique dance moves.

Miller foresaw that she would need to excel in multiple areas, as he predicted she’d be acting next.
Tate recently launched his newest album titled “So Close to What” on the 21st of February, and it’s already generating a series of chart-toppers.
She achieved her second top-ranking single on the Billboard Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart through her song, “Revolving Door”.
In the meantime, her alluring tune, titled “Sports Car,” moved up from position 57 to 16 on the chart this week, while various other songs made their way onto the Hot 100.
