Abbie Chatfield’s partner, Keli Holiday (whose real name is Adam Hyde), has been nominated for an ARIA Award in 2025.
Adam Hyde, one half of the electronic music duo Peking Duk, is nominated for Best Video at this year’s awards show. His song, ‘Dancing2,’ is up for the prize at the November 19th ceremony, which will be held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.
He wrote the popular song about his girlfriend, Abbie, a TV personality in Australia. She was thrilled and proud when he was nominated for an award in 2025.
Adam shared a video on Instagram showing him and Abbie looking at a laptop and celebrating some good news, with their arms linked.
‘Holy sh*t,’ Adam, 35, proclaimed, in shock, before Abbie, 30, planted a giant kiss on him.
The couple beamed with happiness, celebrating the singer’s first-ever ARIA Award nomination.
The other artists nominated in this category are RÜFÜS DU SOL, Spacey Jane, Amyl and The Sniffers, Royel Otis, Missy Higgins, Emily Wurramara, Vv Pete, Dom Dolla, and Hilltop Hoods.
Ninajirachi, a rising star, was the big success at this year’s ARIAs, receiving eight nominations – including Album of the Year and Best Solo Artist.
The producer, who taught herself everything she knows, is just 26 years old. Her first album, ‘I Love My Computer,’ came out only seven weeks ago.
The Album of the Year nominees also include albums by Thelma Plum (I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back), RÜFÜS DU SOL (Inhale / Exhale), Missy Higgins (The Second Act), and Amyl and The Sniffers (Cartoon Darkness).
The competition for Best Solo Artist features many prominent Australian musicians, including pop icon Kylie Minogue, indie artist Mallrat, hitmaker The Kid LAROI, DJs Young Franco and Dom Dolla, singer-songwriter Missy Higgins, and First Nations artists Thelma Plum and BARKAA.
The lineup for Best Group includes Amyl and The Sniffers, Folk Bitch Trio, Hilltop Hoods, Royel Otis, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, all competing for the top spot.
The biggest award of the night, Song of the Year, features some popular hits you’ve probably heard, including “With You” by Dean Lewis, “Girls” by The Kid LAROI, “Dreamin” by Dom Dolla and Daya, and “Linger” by Royel Otis.
I’m so excited because Abbie recently had everyone speculating about an engagement with Adam! She posted some lyrics from the song ‘Dancing2’ on her Instagram Stories, and it totally felt like she was reminiscing about when they first started dating – it was so sweet and got everyone thinking a proposal might be coming!
The song lyrics say you spend 28 years trying to figure things out, and then another 28 years understanding what it all means to you.
Here we are, dancing together! You were already dancing, and now I’m joining in with you.
After releasing the song, Abbie shared a message from a fan who regretted not having played it at their wedding.
‘It’s such a wedding song!’ Abbie enthused, perhaps hinting she may play it at her own wedding.
Abbie fueled speculation about an engagement after revealing jewelry she received for her 30th birthday.
The actress posted a video on Instagram showing off the unique ring her boyfriend, Adam, gave her for her birthday.
The podcaster quickly clarified that she was wearing the ring on her right hand, but the camera reversed the image, making it look like it was on her left hand.
