Some small business on the Northern Beaches is saying she *stole* a necklace – a diamond one, can you imagine?! – and now her TikTok comments are just flooded with people accusing her. It’s just…a mess. I know she’d *never* do anything like that, but these trolls are relentless! I’m defending her in the comments, but there are just SO many of them! It’s breaking my heart to see her deal with this.
This week, Luna Rae Jewellery posted a TikTok video revealing that a social media influencer purchased their $360 Spirit Element Necklace earlier in the year.
The influencer reportedly stated they never received the package containing the jewelry and requested a refund from the seller, which was granted.

A video is going viral with 1.5 million views, and people on social media are trying to figure out which well-known influencer is featured in it.
Some of the strongest criticism has been directed at Chatfield, leading her to post a tearful response on TikTok yesterday.
Abbie showed her followers the necklace she often wears in her posts – a horseshoe pendant her boyfriend, Adam Hyde, gave her. She confirmed it’s completely different from the necklace that’s missing from Luna Rae Jewellery.
Luna Rae Jewellery also clarified in the TikTok comments that Abbie wasn’t the influencer they had mentioned.
Abbie expressed her frustration in a video, saying it’s upsetting that people immediately assume she’s done something wrong, like stealing a necklace, simply because she’s a woman who speaks her mind.
It’s honestly frustrating to see how quickly people jump to conclusions about Abbie Chatfield. Whenever something goes ‘wrong’ – like a woman behaving in a way that doesn’t fit what’s ‘expected’ – the immediate assumption is that *she’s* the one who did something wrong, even something like stealing from a small business. It’s a really unfair double standard.
Abbie outlined that she frequently endorses small businesses in unpaid posts online.
‘When you actually look at my politics, I’m all about supporting small businesses,’ she said.
Abbie’s voice broke as she insisted, ‘I’ve never committed a crime in my life. I’m definitely not a criminal.’
People often make fun of me, but I constantly see lies spread about myself online simply because some people dislike my personality or how I express myself. They object to my voice, my language, and the fact that I’m not always polite, and it even goes as far as false accusations of criminal behavior.
Someone is accusing me of stealing a necklace, which is really upsetting. It doesn’t make sense – why would I steal something and not even wear it? If you check my profile, you’ll see I’m actually wearing a different necklace.
Honestly, it’s just… exhausting. Every single day, there are new accusations thrown my way, and it’s genuinely pushing me to the breaking point. I’m completely fed up with constantly being blamed for things I never even did! It’s like, can’t they just see the truth? It’s driving me crazy!
The radio personality explained that he’s seeing lots of false information about him online, and now people who dislike him are falsely accusing someone else – Abbie Chatfield – of a crime. He strongly denied ever having committed a crime himself.
I believe in politics rooted in understanding and shared compassion, and definitely not in actions like robbing small businesses. It just doesn’t make sense when someone who loudly supports marginalized communities then harms a local business.
She ended by saying it’s unbelievable that some people equate outspoken women with criminals.
On Tuesday, Luna Rae Jewellery shared an update on TikTok, saying they’ve been surprised and a little overwhelmed by all the attention surrounding the recent events.
