This week, Abbey Gelmi proudly displayed her growing belly, as she announced that she’s having her second child with partner Kane Lambert.
The Channel Seven presenter cradled her baby bump in a sweet photo posted to Instagram.
With a sense of pride gleaming in her eyes, the expectant mother, about to welcome her second child, gracefully displayed her growing bump in a sleek, black dress that accentuated her figure.
Over the weekend, she posted a picture with the comment, “Taking a break,” and this shot was captured on the set of Seven News.
Back in July, I, a beyond thrilled fan girl, was overjoyed when Abbey announced the wonderful news about her pregnancy on her Instagram post. However, I must confess that this journey hasn’t been easy for her, as she bravely acknowledged the challenges it’s presented.

During pregnancy, hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) refers to an ongoing and extreme nausea and vomiting condition.
She expressed her heartfelt appreciation for expanding their family, but shared that Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) has been challenging. For the majority of the first trimester, she had to spend three days a week in the hospital due to severe nausea and inability to keep food down or leave her bed. Additionally, standing made her feel dizzy, and taking care of Louis and preserving her mental health became difficult.
Abbey expressed gratitude by saying, “It feels incredibly lonely sometimes… We’re deeply appreciative of our friends and family, particularly my mom who has been extraordinarily strong… My workplace has been understanding, I can’t thank Seven and iHeart enough for their kindness and patience in allowing me time to heal.”
I’m glad to reach a point where I can explain my absence from responsibilities that hold significant importance for me. Although I’m not yet fully recovered, I’m starting to emerge from my confusion and gradually getting back on track with daily activities, but above all, I’m being a mother again.
She then joked she would be ‘busy’ now that she and Kane will have ‘two under two’.
In September, Abbey announced her engagement to former AFL star Kane.
The stylish wife and girlfriend (WAG) aged 32 announced thrilling updates on Instagram, as she prepared herself for the red carpet, by uploading a series of pictures.
One photo showed a glammed-up Abbey waving her hand towards the camera to reveal her eye-popping diamond engagement ring.
The raven-haired beauty beamed as she proudly flashed her sizable new sparkler.
Many of Abbey’s celebrity friends and fans were quick to notice and comment on the huge ring.
At the Brownlow red carpet, Abbey displayed her stunning engagement ring while wearing a beautiful pink strapless ballgown.
Abbey first sparked rumours she was dating the recently retired Richmond star, 32, in May 2021.
It is said that the two were spotted together at Sam Mac’s book launch in Melbourne, which apparently took place around the same time. They are believed to have been introduced by Tayla Broad from Love Island Australia.
According to The Daily Telegraph, they started dating once Abbey relocated from Melbourne to Sydney.
The lovebirds welcomed their first child in March last year.
