Abbey Clancy Calls Out Peter Crouch’s ‘Annoying’ Parenting Style in Candid Family Reveal!

In a candid conversation, model Abbey Clancy disclosed an endearing yet pesky parenting trait of her husband Peter Crouch, sharing insights into their lively family life.

The model, aged 39, openly acknowledged that the ex-footballer, who is 44 years old, can occasionally be irritating when it comes to co-parenting their four children – Sophia Ruby (13), Liberty Rose (9), and sons Johnny (6) and Jack (5).

As a lifestyle expert, I’d share that in our household, I often take on the role of the firm enforcer, reminding our little ones to complete their tasks such as homework or eat their vegetables. My partner, Pete, is more about fostering fun and playtime, which can sometimes be frustrating but has proven effective. It’s a balancing act, ensuring discipline while maintaining a joyful environment for the kids.

Our children are quite remarkable. Each of them has a unique character, yet they’re all remarkably laid-back. However, let me clarify that this doesn’t mean our household is peaceful – far from it; it’s often quite tumultuous!

‘There’s absolutely nothing chilled about, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.’

Abbey also dubbed Peter ‘useless’ as she confirmed her fears over her sex life confessions.

The pair behind the Therapy Couch podcast shared with the Mirror their secrets for maintaining romance after 14 years of wedlock.

She informed the media outlet that although they spend a lot of time together, she doesn’t have a desire for personal space apart from him.

However, Abbey clarified that when she’s not feeling well, she requires some personal space as Peter can be overbearing in his caregiving.

She expressed: “I don’t require ‘distance’ from Peter, except when I’m unwell, such as I am currently. That’s because he’s not good at caring for me, and I’d prefer him to leave during those times.

On their podcast, Abbey shares candidly and transparently about personal aspects of her life, including details that can sometimes be quite explicit concerning their intimate relationships.

Although they appear unfazed about sharing their private moments, she admitted that she is concerned she might slip up and reveal something inadvertently.

‘But you know what? It’s important for us to be authentic… to be real’, she added.

Apart from Abbey and Peter, it’s worth noting that they have specific guidelines in place to keep their household connected in an unusual yet effective manner.

At Christmas, they enforced a rule prohibiting iPads and phones, claiming it has resulted in a more upbeat atmosphere within their home.

On their Therapy Couch podcast, Peter asserted that they had informed the individuals about the need to put away iPads and phones, and he confirmed that they have consistently followed through with this rule.

‘We made a conscious effort amongst ourselves to cut them out and they’ve properly cut them out.’

The rules they’ve established also emphasize prioritizing homework and spending time with the family before retiring for the night, after the children have gone to bed.

Elsewhere, Abbey also recently recalled a very awkward Valentine’s Day she once shared with Peter.

Abbey disclosed the unfortunate event that occurred exactly a year ago, when she found herself dressed in a delicate nightwear, just as Peter was reserving a romantic dinner.

Back in the day, on a special Valentine’s celebration, I was decked out from head to toe in none other than the iconic fashion of Agent Provocateur.

Clad in my finest attire, donning one of the coats Peter generously gifted me, I assumed our destination was a hotel for the night.

To her astonishment, it turned out that Peter had meticulously arranged an elegant in-home dining experience for a couple, complete with a personal chef preparing their meal.

Abbey went on to say, “We were both seated at the table, and I was wearing my entire coat. Pete suggested, ‘Remove your coat,’ to which I replied, ‘Not really, it’s a bit cold in here.’

Later, the chef chose to join us for each dish, creating an uncomfortable situation since I could barely remove my coat as I wore nothing but an apron beneath it.

Pete shared with his audience that this particular event prompted him to gift his beloved wife a Burberry coat on Valentine’s Day each year, jokingly adding, “I wish you had told me earlier.

In response, Abbey said: “Yes, I realize. After our meal, I was quite full, so I put my plush robe back on.
