Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch pack on the PDA during Portuguese holiday as they prove they’re more loved-up than ever after 14 years of marriage
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d share: During my recent getaway in Almancil, Portugal, I, along with my beloved partner Peter Crouch, savored a delightful day at the beach. Our connection was palpable, making it an unforgettable experience that truly embodied love and relaxation.
The duo departed for a sunny vacation in the Algarve, accompanied by their four kids: Sophia (age 14), Liberty (age 10), Johnny (age 7), and little Jack (age 6).
The happily married couple, who exchanged vows in 2011, didn’t hesitate to express their love openly; they were spotted enjoying a romantic day at the beach, displaying affectionate public displays of affection (PDA).
39-year-old Abbey was spotted affectionately close to Peter, aged 44, as they exchanged a loving kiss. The retired athlete appeared quite affectionate while passionately kissing his spouse.
On this outing, Abbey opted for a stylish look, donning a one-shouldered striped wrap around, layered over a sleek black swimsuit, showcasing her long legs.
She put on a pair of dark sunglasses and pulled her golden hair under a blue baseball cap, finishing off her fashionable appearance.
In a pair of blue board shorts adorned with turtle patterns, the ex-footballer Peter displayed his well-toned physique while going without a shirt.
With a lively demeanor, he sported a broad grin, and as Abbey embraced him warmly, he playfully patted her backside in a teasing manner.
The pair departed not long after their 14th wedding anniversary, heading towards a vacation bathed in sunlight.
On June 30, 2011, they got married at Stapleford Park, and five years later, they reaffirmed their commitment to each other in the Maldives to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
Abbey recently opened up on the way she’s kept her marriage to Peter thriving over the years.
She acknowledged that the key to their relationship was mutual growth over time with Peter, as well as maintaining a harmonious connection with him.
Reflecting on our wedding day, and certain decisions or actions from the past, it sometimes feels to us as if we were different people, saying something along the lines of ‘Wow, who were we back then?’ according to the celebrity’s statement to The Mirror.
Today, our spirits are harmoniously aligned. Shared passions and humor bind us closely, creating a joyful atmosphere between us right now.
‘In every aspect, we’re in sync, excluding work hours. Interestingly, work itself is something we share too, as we run a podcast together.’
On their podcast, “The Therapy Couch,” the pair frequently share amusing perspectives about their partnership, addressing a wide range of topics without hesitation.
In a conversation on their podcast, this pair disclosed a firm guideline they’ve imposed on their four kids as an attempt to modify their behavior.
At Christmas, they enforced a restriction on using iPads and phones, claiming it has resulted in a more upbeat mood within their home.
Peter explained: ‘We said to them iPads and phones are gone and I feel we’ve stuck to that.
‘We made a conscious effort amongst ourselves to cut them out and they’ve properly cut them out.’
Among the rules they highlighted are prioritizing homework and devoting family time before retiring for the night, when the children have gone to bed.
While the new regulations have proven effective, it’s not always smooth sailing, and Abbey conceded that Peter occasionally grates on her nerves in matters of parenting.
She shared with OK! magazine that Pete plays the role of the good cop while she is the tough one. I’m the one saying, “Do your homework” and “Eat your vegetables,” and Pete encourages playtime for the kids. It can be frustrating at times, but it seems to work effectively for us.
Our children are quite remarkable, each with their unique characteristics yet remarkably laid-back. Don’t be fooled though; our household is far from tranquil – it’s often a whirlwind of activity!
