Abbey Clancy admits filming sexy advert with husband Peter Crouch was ‘excruciating’ as she shares sizzling behind-the-scenes snaps in racy lingerie and reveals what her dad had to say about the steamy campaign

Abbey Clancy discusses candidly about shooting her fresh, sultry Christmas project for Agent Provocateur alongside her spouse, Peter Crouch. She disclosed that the scenes were not as steamy backstage as they seemed on camera.
The new advert sees the model, 38, putting on a jaw-dropping display in red lace lingerie and suspenders as she ties the former footballer, 43, to a snooker table.
Under the direction of Greg Williams, and featuring Jamie Winstone portraying the pub’s landlady, the pair showed an extremely affectionate behavior within The Marquis Cornwallis located in London.
The ad shows Abbey getting ready in a hotel room, donning a delicate lace bra, undergarments, and stockings, before sending a message to Peter inviting him over.
Instead, he’s preoccupied due to friends playing snooker at a nearby pub, which leads Abbey to show off her stunning physique by exiting the room and striding over the street in nothing but her undergarments to face him.
She swiftly persuades him to lie on the table, then she mounts him and restrains him using stockings. She lowers his pants to expose his underwear from a well-known lingerie brand.
However, in an unexpected turn of events, the host cleverly turns the tables on Peter. She manages to put him in an uncomfortable situation, causing him to become flustered, only to then gracefully exit, leaving him there as the commercial concludes with the witty reminder: ‘Always remember date night’.
On their latest episode of The Therapy Couch podcast, Abbey shared her strategy for getting Peter on board with the new campaign they’re promoting together.
She said: ‘I’ve just done the new campaign for Agent Provocateur and we filmed an advert for it, which was hysterical. Me, Pete and Jaime Winstone.
Later, I requested Pete’s presence, saying casually, “Don’t worry Pete, there’s nothing you need to do.” After that, about five hours passed, and I found Pete secured to a snooker table with lace stockings.
Peter confessed his own shock at the way things had unfolded, saying, “A friend of mine messaged me asking about my activities. In response, I shared a photo of what I was engaged in, and his reply was, ‘I won’t bother asking.’
However, Abbey openly acknowledged that shooting those intimate scenes was not nearly as alluring as it appeared on screen; instead, she described it as ‘awful’ and revealed her personal struggle to conquer her own self-doubts.
She mentioned: “I had to stroll along the main street dressed in a red lingerie set, complete with stockings and suspenders.” Peter elaborated on the location, stating that it was not a secluded area but rather the bustling heart of London itself, adding with confidence: “You owned it, girl!
She went on: ‘The weird thing is when you hear movie stars talk about doing sex scenes and they say it’s the most unsexy thing ever. The advert is really hot but at the time it was horrific.
‘It was the most excruciating thing. There was like 50 crew and I had to just walk and tie Pete up to a snooker table.’
Peter burst out laughing, saying, “Today was just one of those strange days that I can hardly put into words.
Abbey commented: “The day turned out very procedural, almost scripted. It felt like a series of instructions such as ‘Lick his ear now, turn around and show him your rear end.’
The silence was deafening; it felt as if there were fifty people present, all of them whispering something like, “Face-to-back position, then bend over to whisper into his ear.
Apart from admitting her feelings of pressure, the mother of four also acknowledged that she felt compelled to exude confidence when viewing the advertisement, so as not to disappoint or undermine other women.
She expressed: “I had a sense of obligation towards other women, as confidence is crucial. It wouldn’t be becoming if I didn’t embody that role.
The advertisement aims to empower women and encourage self-confidence and sexuality in their own bodies. Despite having given birth to four children, I too sometimes felt self-conscious. As a 40-year-old woman, I don’t possess the body of a 20-year-old girl, but that doesn’t diminish my worth or beauty.
In other words, this was a significant challenge for me, but I hope those observing will realize they too can achieve the same.
Peter admired his remarkable wife, expressing to her: ‘I felt quite proud seeing your actions. You truly shone brilliantly.’
Apart from expressing her enjoyment, Abbey mentioned that the team was fantastic and they shared plenty of laughter. She speculates that the event’s appeal might be due to its blend of humor and allure, making it both amusing and captivating.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share that even though my favorite podcaster unveiled a steamy ad, not everyone was on board with it. In fact, she confessed that her dad, Geoff Clancy, wasn’t exactly thrilled about it.
She said: ‘The only negative comment I had was from my dad, he was like “That’s so rude!”‘
On her Instagram on Monday, Abbey showcased backstage images from a photoshoot where she modeled an expensive £1500 ensemble from their Forever Collection, striking numerous poses.
Additionally, she displayed an impressive silhouette adorned in a sleek black lace-free top with a provocative golden neckpiece, her hair casually wavy, and a perfectly applied makeup palette gracing her visage, all bathed in a gentle hotel room illumination.
And in a video, the blonde beauty could be seen doing a number of sexy dance moves, before crawling up Peter’s body.

The Christmas campaign is a playful anniversary-inspired update of the brand’s iconic 2015 Love Me Tender film starring Rosie Huntington Whiteley.
In this well-known commercial, the model surprised her significant other at his workplace by performing a sensual dance for him while dressed in alluring black lingerie. This unexpected event took place after he had canceled their planned date to prioritize working on an assignment.
As I approached him, I wrapped myself snugly in a trench coat, concealing my bold ensemble. Only when I was close enough did I unveil my daring attire – much like Abbey had done before me.
Last November, Abbey admitted that she unexpectedly went out to pick up her husband Peter from his training session, dressed only in a Burberry trench coat to encourage him to return home sooner.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share this intriguing tidbit: She casually hinted that beneath the designer cloak, she wore nothing at all. Incredibly, the strategy to lure me away from the football field seemed to have been an astounding success, as acknowledged by Peter himself.
On their Therapy Couch podcast, Peter mentioned that he is quite easily surprised, in fact very much so. If he were to come home and find someone without any clothes on, it would be the most delightful surprise imaginable.
“It couldn’t be easier – all that’s required is to go without clothing. The concept is straightforward, and it would bring me immense joy. I’m simply stating the truth.
Abbey chimed in: “Don’t you remember, I gave you a ride home after your training session before? And guess what, I also picked up the Burberry Mac you gifted me while wearing just that – no clothes beneath it – to ensure we made it home safely.
Peter admitted: ‘And it worked – very well.’
